Angel Mama (or Mama as she is normally called) was found as a stray in Dothan, Alabama about 8 months ago. At the time, her tail was mangled so it has been partially removed to give her a stubby tail. She has cataracts in both eyes but does have some vision. She is shy and timid ... (Read More)at first but with a little kindness and yummy treats hand fed to her she warms up quickly. We would prefer her to go to a single person or couple without children. She is very well behaved while outdoors and tends to stay very near her humans. She bonds quickly and will snuggle with you day and night. Her adoption fee is $200. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) group, so all funds go right back into the care of these and future wonderful pups. OUT OF STATE adoptions are possible. If you are working with Vermont Dog Rescue, the additional fee is $200 to cover transportation costs and the health certificate, which is required to cross state lines. Transport to other areas is dependent on location. (Less)
