Rescue Me ID: 14-12-17-00006Max (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Max is a total sweetie pie with an affectionate, playful spirit. He LOVES to snuggle and give kisses. Max is just the right size to fit perfectly in any available lap and is convinced that is where he belongs. He is happiest when he is right there with you whatever you're doing. Max was surrendered to us from an abuse/ neglect situation and because of his less than pleasant past, he is a wee bit shy towards men and loud children. He would be best-suited to an active couple or small family with older children. He will need a home with people that love him enough to walk, play and shower him with love and attention every day. Max is well ... (Read More)behaved in the house and so far has not had any accidents in his foster mama's home or his crate. He walks well on a leash and enjoys car rides. Max gets along with other smaller dogs and doesn't seem too interested in cats. To prepare for his adoption, he's been neutered and given all of his age appropriate vaccinations. Max has a super soft, fluffy coat that will need regular grooming and care. To find out more about Max please contact his foster mom using the contact info on this site. ***** Friends of cats and dogs preforms a home visit with the prospective animal so out of state/ long distance adoptions will not be considered. We apologize for any disappointment this causes. ****** (Less)

lnteresting Poodle Trivia Low-Cost Alabama Spay & Neuter Clinics
Poodles appear in art from ancient Rome. Poodles do not shed and are popular for breeding with other dogs to produce a relatively non-allergenic hybrid. Poodles have been used as circus performers. The name Poodle comes from a German word describing someone who likes the water. Poodles are widely considered to be French, but there is debate over whether they may have originated in Germany or Denmark.
