Animal ID: WWR2014-007Stella Rose (female)

Poodle    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Very High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Red, female standard poodle. Very active. She is UTD on everything and has been spayed. heartworm negative . Loves to play with other dogs. She has come a long way in a short time. She loves to go for rides, walks, and loves to be brushed or petted. She loves toys & thinks treats are just wonderful. I think she would do better in a home with a female, female with teenagers, or a couple. She is the kind of dog that needs another dog to play with. She does not like to be left out of anything. Stella is a very, very sweet standard, never bred. Very good stock with no known health issues. She has shown no fear of being groomed. She ... (Read More)was badly matted ( when I rescued her) but has been groomed (clipped) 3 times and did a lot better the second time. She understands basic commands now but will have to keep up with her 'lessons' & is doing great with her leash lessons. I do require a fenced yard. She does have a lot of energy but has behaved well when stuck indoors. You must provide references and have a home check. If interested in this beauty , please e-mail me for an adoption application. lnteresting Poodle Trivia Low-Cost Alabama Spay & Neuter Clinics
Poodles appear in art from ancient Rome. Poodles do not shed and are popular for breeding with other dogs to produce a relatively non-allergenic hybrid. Poodles have been used as circus performers. The name Poodle comes from a German word describing someone who likes the water. Poodles are widely considered to be French, but there is debate over whether they may have originated in Germany or Denmark.
