Rescue Me ID: 16-06-30-00067Snoopy (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see an adorable young dog. Snoopy is the kind of guy who snuggles in, loves you up and then puts his head on your shoulder. He's so sweet (while being initially just a bit shy) and truly kind with every possibility open to him. That's the case unless a dog like Snoopy is in a high-kill shelter that quickly runs out of space or on the streets hiding in the shadows. We're so grateful for the efforts of our great rescuer in Tijuana, Mexico for saving Snoopy from abuse and certain euthanasia. She could see that his temperament was so sweet and his need so great that she couldn't turn her back on ... (Read More)this very special pup. Snoopy was immediately brought to be vetted, given the appropriate vaccinations, neutered, granted a health certificate and brought to a dog-loving foster to begin his education as a cherished house dog. When we think of rescue, our thoughts don't usually go onto the tough streets of Tijuana. But these forgotten dogs deserve our help every bit as much as their US counterparts. They all have been used for opportunistic purposes...to either breed and discard or to sell as a puppy to a Mexican mill or rich tourists. Virtually all of them have lived on the streets and survived by learning to be social. They love people because compassionate tourists were their means of survival. They can sit in any language and fit quietly into any scene to earn a treat or discarded meal. This was the life waiting for Snoopy.. 9 - 12 months old and just about 13 lbs. This is such a perfect size to be able to accompany his family just about anywhere and then fit perfectly onto a loving lap. Snoopy will always fit right in due to his great temperament. He is already starting to understand that sweet, cuddly and cooperative behavior makes great things happen in life. Snoopy was one of the extremely lucky very young dogs to show great promise in his socialization skills at a very early age. The US rescuers couldn't help but fall in love with Snoopy! We all had a clear picture of this very sweet and fun-loving guy in a forever Colorado home with a family that cherishes him for life. As Snoopy becomes comfortable in his home, he will become a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please - the happier his family is with his behavior, the more he will shine with his accomplishments. We would like to see Snoopy in a home that includes him in family time and activities (and of course some lap or couch-time would be perfect!)... and takes that extra step to participate in positive reinforcement obedience classes. These classes take a very smart guy like Snoopy and teaches them the skills to fit into a great family member that can behave appropriately in any situation. Snoopy would also be a wonderful companion for active retirees who have the time and desire to be best friends with a truly adorable young pup. Snoopy would enjoy another gentle dog to play with...he's so sweet and gentle as he puts his positive energy into enjoying the day with a fun friend. Snoopy was identified as a Wheaten Terrier/Poodle (Whoodle)) by his Tijuana rescuer. This is difficult to determine with certainty, but we can see both adorable and engaging breeds in this very sweet dog. Snoopy appears to be a non-shedding guy with striking streaks of silver and beige running through his hair. Snoopy will require a commitment to periodic grooming and great nutrition (a salmon oil supplement would be great) to keep his hair cottoniy-soft and matt-free. Snoopy will be arriving on transport in Boulder in late June. Applications are currently being accepted for our very sweet pup with the dark, expressive eyes. If interested in this adorable ...and often very fun and entertaining best friend, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730. Rescue Me ID: 16-06-29-00105Cody (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

What a sweet and kind Westie/Poodle our Bamboo is! Is that a Wespoo or a Poowest..we're not sure but it's a designer breed mix that is opportunistically being bred for their adorable looks, non-shedding cotton-soft coats and great temperaments. As a result of this human greed, these pups are being bred, sold for very high prices or dumped if they have any challenges. Farfel's is very happy to rescue these dogs and find them nurturing and committed homes. At 12 - 18 months old and 21 lbs, Cody is an incredibly beautiful guy. We all know Cody has arrived when we see the wag that starts at his tail and becomes a full-blown body ... (Read More)wiggle...Cody is greeting either a friend or anyone who has the potential to be a future playmate. Cody can be initially cautious...assessing the situation to make sure all is OK. This makes perfect sense as he's been through time spent at a high-kill shelter waiting for his pending euthanasia date. When he was identified with a great temperament, Farfel's spoke up to bring Cody to safety (and a new forever family) in Colorado. Once he senses that all present are his friends, Cody is so warm and friendly that he always hopes every pat and kind word will turn into a friend. Both people and other dogs are drawn to Cody for his kind attitude and playful ways. He is learning to play with toys and waits expectantly, with his eyes so bright and joyful, to engage his people in fun. Farfel's Rescue has determined that Cody needs a mellow home where he is an active and important member of the family. We feel that this would be more possible in an adult home (young retirees would be perfect) or a family with older, dog-loving children where there's a more predictable environment. Cody would be overjoyed to spend parts of the day together either hiking or walking through the beauty of Colorado. Then at day's end, he's the ultimate snuggler and sleeps soundly through the night. It is Cody's love affair with life and all the hardships that he's suffered along the way that motivates us to put Cody through Heartworm treatments..his precious life deserves to be saved! Cody has tested HW+ and Farfel's (with the help of Dr G in Denver) has volunteered to save this very special dog's life. The heart worm treatment process involves several shots followed by a short period of quiet time for the dog. We have found this protocol to be very successful and every heartworm dog we've rescued has gone on to live long, happy lives. We are seeking an adopter to lovingly care for Cody as he becomes Heartworm negative. It's quite an easy rehab process as it only entails mellow time with soft words and belly rubs. Farfel's will pay the vet bills and provide premium food and treats for this special pup as he becomes healthily heartworm-free. Cody (like all dogs) would benefit from positive reinforcement obedience classes that included the whole family - he is a super-smart guy who truly wants to please. Great training will give Cody the skills to be an excellent adult dog. These type of classes will also bring out the great qualities of this Westie/Poodle as well as creating a tightly-knit bonding with all family members . Cody is a non-shedding pup with a beautiful coat that is a combination of white and apricot. He will therefore require periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep his hair healthy, cottony-soft and matt-free. Cody will be arriving on transport in Boulder on 7/8/16. Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. If interested in this sweet and very devoted best friend, please fill out and return to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-06-26-00066Carrie (female)

Poodle Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

When Carrie's rescuer walked down the aisle of the dismal Texas shelter, she was shocked to see the terrified yet adorable (and so sad-looking) Carrie tucked tightly into a cage...her time was up. Farfel's Rescue immediately got a call describing how incredibly cute and sweet this mix is..and the need to save her life. We immediately agreed and Carrie became a very treasured Farfel's dog. She earned a ticket to a wonderful new life in Colorado with her great personality (although initially a bit shy..who wouldn't be?) and her kind attitude toward the world. At just about 18 - 24 months old and a perfect lap-size of 10 lbs, this beautiful ... (Read More)girl is a blank slate waiting for positive input and guidance to be the best adult dog she's capable of being. We'd love to match Carrie to a family that will spend lots of time with this very portable pup..she will fall completely in love with these special people and there's no more loyal companion around. She's a perfect size to accompany her family just about anywhere...and would love it. Carrie has gotten a ton of hugs and attention at the shelter..and pretty much everywhere she goes. You immediately know she's sweet...and just a touch fragile and vulnerable right now. It's clear that she hadn't been properly cared for in the past and we can't wait for a great individual or family to make her the diva she should be. After some great nutrition and a spa day, Carrie will be a beautiful and fuzzy golden teddy bear (with the cutest ears around). When Carrie turns her gentle (yet very wise) look in your direction, you can't help but smile at her soft gaze and adorable ways. You can see just a touch of a sign that this young dog has had difficult times. But not for her to be negative..a smile and a wag is more Carrie's style. Farfel's Rescue is searching for an adult family (or with older, very gentle kids) for Carrie ...it's not that she doesn't like young kids...we just feel she'll be more comfortable and settled with an older family. An active retired couple or individual would be perfect for this beautiful girl. She would thrive on the time and attention that she could share. Carrie is a very loyal and positive-minded dog..that makes her easy to spend time with just enjoying the wonders of life in Colorado. Carrie would also enjoy time with dogs of similar size who could be gentle playmates. When you're only 10 lbs, even a very well-adjusted pup can be intimidated by larger, rambunctious dogs. Carrie appears to be shed-free dog. She therefore will require periodic grooming and great nutrition (a salmon oil supplement would be great) to keep her cotton-soft hair healthy and matt-free. Carrie will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Friday 7/1/16. Applications are currently being accepted for our wonderful Carrie. If interested in this adorable and sweet...and often very entertaining companion, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730. Rescue Me ID: 16-06-16-00007Bonnie-PENDING! (female)

Poodle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

The Schnauzer/Poodle mixes are always a favorite among the many groups of mixed breed dogs. We all seem to love their fun, outgoing and snuggly nature. Bonnie appears to be a perfect combo within the Schnauzer/Poodle breeds. Her beautiful coat (so cottony-soft and shining ) lights up her adorable face. Her dark eyes are so expressive that you understand the pain she's been through while seeing her optimism and love of life. Bonnie is very special...she was found wandering sadly along the Tijuana streets and a wonderful Tijuana foster couldn't let her go...she brought her into her home to heal and to ready her for a forever home. At ... (Read More)just about 12 - 24 months old and 15 lbs (the perfect size for hiking and playing in the Colorado mountains), Bonnie shines with an engaging and sweet disposition. She is an active girl whose tail wags in her joy and then likes to cuddle on the couch (particularly after a walk or hike). Bonnie was described by her foster as: very sweet, somewhat shy, calm yet can be very playful and active. She was very respectful with her rescuers as well as the other dogs in her foster home. Bonnie also enjoys gentle and respectful kids and would be an active participant in outdoor play in the yard or a walk to the park. She also enjoys the company of other dogs and would always enjoy hanging out in the sunshine or a sharing a walk on the awesome Colorado trails. Somewhere along the line, we think that Bonnie was given love and respect..probably because she's so capable of returning warmth and kindness. Bonnie is great to take along anywhere there are groups of dog-loving people. She can be a bit shy initially but always warms up with sweetness and warm hugs. We feel that Bonnie would do well in any home that offered her love, time (long hours left alone at home wouldn't be in the best interest of this social and sensitive girl), appropriate exercise/mental stimulation and positive reinforcement group training classes to make her the best dog she can possibly be. Bonnie has an amazing non-shedding coat that will grow more beautiful and soft as cotton with great nutrition (salmon oil would be a great supplement) and periodic grooming. This regimen will keep her hair healthy and matt-free. Bonnie definitely has the idea about house-training but a new family should anticipate some teaching on this any time a dog is rehomed...they just don't know where the bathroom is. It's helpful if there's another dog in the home to show the way. Bonnie is arriving on transport in Boulder on 6/26/16. He is already starting to understand that sweet, cuddly and cooperative behavior makes great things happen in life. Pluto was one of the extremely lucky very young dogs to show great promise in his socialization skills at a very early age. The US rescuers couldn't help but fall in love with Pluto! We all had a clear picture of this very sweet and fun-loving guy in a forever Colorado home with a family that cherishes him for life. As Pluto becomes comfortable in his home, he will become a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please - the happier his family is with his behavior, the more he will shine with his accomplishments. As you can see by his extremely sad before-rescue photo, Pluto had a difficult time on the streets. It's clear that he was never loved or cared for in any way. We're so grateful to our amazing Tijuana rescuers and fosters for saving Pluto's precious life and taking him out of the pain of hair matts. He was barely able to move due to deep matts that attached his legs to his body. Being given the gift of movement was the ultimate kindness for this young dog. Pluto will be arriving on transport in Boulder in late June. Applications are currently being accepted for our very sweet pup with the dark, expressive eyes. Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament

We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see an adorable young dog. Molly is the kind of baby who snuggles in, loves you up and then puts her head on your shoulder. She's so sweet (while being initially just a bit shy) and truly kind with every possibility open to her. That's the case unless a dog like Molly is in a high-kill shelter that quickly runs out of space or on the streets hiding in the shadows. We're so grateful for the efforts of our great rescuer in Tijuana, Mexico for saving Molly from abuse and certain euthanasia. She could see that her temperament was so sweet and her need so great that she couldn't turn her back on ... (Read More)this very special girl. Molly was immediately brought to be vetted, given the appropriate vaccinations, spayed, granted a health certificate and brought to a dog-loving foster to begin her education as a cherished house dog. This was the life waiting for Molly...just about 18 - 24 months old and 10 - 12 lbs. This is such a perfect size to be able to accompany her family just about anywhere and then fit perfectly onto a loving lap. Molly will always fit right in due to her great temperament. She is already starting to understand that sweet, cuddly and cooperative behavior makes great things happen in life. Molly was one of the extremely lucky very young dogs to show great promise in her socialization skills at a very early age. The US rescuers couldn't help but fall in love with Molly! We all had a clear picture of this very sweet and fun-loving girl in a forever Colorado home with a family that cherishes her for life. Molly's first photo is of her on the streets of Tijuana..so frightened yet accepting love from a young Mexican boy. The second photo is of Molly, so happy and safe..and groomed so beautifully, at her foster mom's home in Tijuana. We're so grateful to all the wonderful Mexican people who participated with so much love in Molly's rescue. As Molly becomes comfortable in her home, she will become a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please - the happier her family is with her behavior, the more she will shine with her accomplishments. We would like to see Molly in a home that includes her in family time and activities (and of course some lap or couch-time would be perfect!)... and takes that extra step to participate in positive reinforcement obedience classes. These classes take a very smart dog like Molly and teaches them the skills to fit into a great family member that can behave appropriately in any situation. Molly would also be a wonderful companion for active retirees who have the time and desire to be best friends with a truly adorable young pup. Molly would enjoy another gentle dog to play with...she's so sweet and gentle as she puts her positive energy into enjoying the day with a fun friend. Molly was identified as a Maltese/Parti Poodle mix by her Tijuana rescuer (Parti Poodles and PP mixes are very unusual to find in rescue). This is difficult to determine with certainty, but we can see both scruffy and very sweet breeds in this wonderful dog. Molly is a non-shedding or lightly shedding girl with the cottony-soft hair of the Maltese. She will require a commitment to periodic grooming and great nutrition (a salmon oil supplement would be great) to keep her hair shiny, healthy and matt-free. Molly is arriving on transport in Boulder in late June. Applications are currently being accepted for our very sweet girl with the dark, expressive eyes. Jonah (and his brother Forrest) tucked tightly into a cage...his time was up. (Read More)this blurry image, you can see that Jonah is a gorgeous guy who is very frightened by his intake at a dreary shelter. We've requested new photos but have yet to receive them. We'll update as soon as we do so. At just 8 months old and 12.6 lbs (anticipated to be 14 lbs when full-grown), this very beautiful pup is a blank slate waiting for positive input and guidance to be the best dog he's capable of being. We'd love to match Jonah to a family that will spend lots of time with this very portable guy. He's a perfect size to accompany his family just about anywhere...and would love it. Positive reinforcement group obedience class will not only provide socialization and great skills...but will cement the relationship between Jonah and his family. He's so smart that he's a natural to succeed in learning his skills...and would be so excited at his success! Jonah gets lots of attention when he's out and about with his foster because he's a stunning guy. He's engaging (while a bit shy at first) and as sweet as can be. Jonah was identified by shelter vets as a Havanese/Poodle mix and we can see both beautiful breeds in this cutie-pie. He's an adorable and fun scruffy puppy that's irresistible! When Jonah turns that gentle look in your direction (with those amazing dark and expressive eyes), you can't help but smile at his adorable ways. You can see a bit of a sign that this young pup has had difficult times. But not for him to be negative..a smile and a wag is more Jonah 's style once he's acclimated to his new environment. It's clear that he is working hard on leaving any pain behind. Farfel's Rescue is searching for an adult or retired family for Jonah. It's not that he actively doesn't like young kids..it just appears that Jonah is more comfortable around quieter energy. A retired couple or individual or a person working at home would be perfect for this guy. He would thrive on the time and attention that these groups often put into their pets. Jonah, once bonded, will be a loyal and very loving companion....that makes him very easy to spend time with just enjoying the wonders of life in Colorado. Jonah would also enjoy time with dogs of similar size who can be gentle playmates. When you weigh less than 15 lbs, even a very well-adjusted pup can be intimidated by large, rambunctious dogs. Jonah is a very happy guy once he's comfortable...a bit of patience, treats and belly rubs will truly get this guy's attention as he's had far too little of all in his life. Jonah's foster mom is very happy to report that Jonah is coming out of his shell more each day...he's blossoming. She's very clear that Jonah will be a wonderful and bonded family member when he has love and nurturing as a part of his life. Jonah will be arriving on transport in Boulder on 6/10/16. Rescue Me ID: 16-06-07-00380Caleb (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

What a sweet and kind Wheaten Terrier/Poodle our Caleb is! Is that a Woodle or a Poowoo..we're not sure but it's a designer breed mix that is opportunistically being bred for their adorable looks, non-shedding cotton-soft coats and great temperaments. As a result of this human greed, these dogs are being bred, sold for very high prices or dumped if they have any challenges. Farfel's is very happy to rescue these pups and find them nurturing and committed homes. At 3-3.5 years old and 20.2 lbs, Caleb is an incredibly beautiful guy . We all know Caleb has arrived when we see the wag that starts at his tail and becomes a full-blown body ... (Read More)wiggle. Caleb may be initially cautious...assessing the situation to make sure all is OK. This makes perfect sense as he's been through time spent at a high-kill shelter waiting for his pending euthanasia date. When he was identified with a great temperament, Farfel's spoke up to bring Caleb to safety (and a new forever family) in Colorado. Once he senses that all present are his friends, Caleb is so warm and friendly that he always hopes every pat and kind word will turn into a friend. Both people and other dogs are drawn to Caleb for his kind attitude and playful ways. He is learning to play with toys and waits expectantly...with his eyes so bright and joyful..to draw his favorite people into his games. Farfel's Rescue has determined that Caleb would enjoy a mellow home where he is an active and important member of the family. We feel that this would be more possible in an adult home (retirees would be perfect) where there's a more predictable environment. Caleb would be overjoyed to spend parts of the day together either hiking or walking through the beauty of Colorado. Then at day's end, he's the ultimate snuggler and sleeps soundly through the night. It is Caleb's love affair with life and all the hardships that he's suffered along the way that motivates us to put Caleb through Heartworm treatments..his precious life deserves to be saved! Bamboo has tested HW+ and Farfel's (with the help of Dr G in Denver) has volunteered to save this very special dog's life. The heart worm treatment process involves several shots followed by a short period of quiet time for the dog. We have found this protocol to be very successful and all of our dogs ever who have been through HW treatment have gone on to live long, happy lives. We are seeking an adopter to lovingly care for Caleb as he becomes Heartworm negative. It's quite an easy rehab process as it only entails mellow time with soft words and belly rubs. Farfel's will pay the vet bills and provide premium food and treats for this special pup as he becomes healthily heartworm-free. Caleb (like all dogs) would benefit from positive reinforcement obedience classes that included the whole family - he is a super-smart guy who truly wants to please. Great training will give Caleb the skills to be an excellent adult dog. These type of classes will also bring out the great qualities of this Woodle as well as creating a tightly-knit bonding with all family members . Caleb is a non-shedding pup with a stunning coat with the most beautiful apricot streaks. His coat looks so sad in his photo...if Caleb's Houston foster doesn't bathe/groom him prior to transport, Farfel's is happy to cover the cost for Caleb's grooming at our rescue groomer in Denver. Caleb will require a commitment to periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep his hair healthy and matt-free. Caleb will arrive on transport in Boulder on Friday 6/10/1. Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/.     We got a very concerned email from Texas about sweet Lexie ...the shelter was set on finding a home for this very beautiful Poodle/Bichon Frise mix (with the most amazing eyes that speak of great wisdom). It's very unusual to find a silver and black Poodle mix in rescue...they're much more rare than other colors. We've no doubt that Lexie would have had a life as a breeder if she hadn't been recognized for her great temperament and rescued from a life in a cage. Lexie was brought to the attention of rescuers..they enjoyed her sweetness and quiet companionship . But as stunning as Lexie is on the outside, it just doesn't compare with the ... (Read More)love and good-will that flows from the heart of this beautiful girl. Lexie aced her temperament testing (she passed with flying colors) and got a perfect on her vetting assessment. So...off she went to her New Mexico foster home...to be reminded of respectful house skills and to wait for her transport to Denver and a brand new life. Since Lexie received an A for sweetness, cuddling and general positive behavior, she's ready to be a devoted family member. We envision Lexie in a home either with older and very gentle children who can cuddle and love Lexie with a light touch or she'd be a natural in a home with retirees who will shower time and attention on this devoted and engaging girl. Lexie has a stunning black coat with the most beautiful silver streaks running through it. As a Poodle/Bichon mix, Lexie is a non-shedder and considered to be one of the most hypoallergenic breed mixes available today. She will therefore require a commitment to periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep her coat cottony-soft and matt-free. We would never want Lexie in a situation where she's alone for many hours. Instead we would love for her to be taken along on walks, adventures and visits with dog-loving friends. She's almost impossible not to fall in love with...her manner speaks of softness and light. Lexie also travels like a champ - she loves nothing more than coming along on errands, socializing visits and any adventure that keeps her together with those she loves. She would also be a natural to come along on vacations or getaways (and is a perfect companion and lap dog at 3.5 - 4 years old and 9 lbs..so easy to scoop up and take along). Lexie is so pleasant with everyone that she attracts admirers everywhere she goes. But it will definitely be the special lap and familiar touch that will draw Lexie back to her family every time...she's a one-family girl! Lexie is being fostered in Denver. Farfel's is currently accepting applications and setting up Meet and Greets for our sweet girl. Rescue Me ID: 16-02-28-00102Oso (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see an adorable young puppy. Oso is the kind of puppy who snuggles in, loves you up and then puts his head on your shoulder. He's so sweet and social with every possibility open to him. That's the case unless a puppy is in a high-kill shelter that quickly runs out of space. We're so grateful for the efforts of our great rescuers and fosters in Tijuana, Mexico for saving Oso from abuse and certain euthanasia. She could see that his temperament was so sweet and his need so great that she couldn't turn her back on this very special guy who had his whole life lying in front of him. Oso was ... (Read More)immediately brought to be vetted, given the appropriate vaccinations, neutered, granted a health certificate and brought to a dog-loving foster to begin his education as a cherished house dog. This was the life waiting for Oso...only about 8 months old and approximately 28 lbs (anticipated to be about 32 lbs when full-grown). This is such a perfect size to be able accompany his family just about anywhere and fit right in due to his great temperament and very positive outlook on life. Oso is already starting to understand that sweet, cuddly and cooperative behavior makes great things happen in life. He was one of the extremely lucky young pups to master his socialization skills at a very early age and endear himself to the US rescuers. There was no way Oso was going to be left behind! We all have a clear picture of this very sweet and fun-loving guy in a forever Colorado home with a family that cherishes him for life. As Oso becomes comfortable in his home, he will become a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please - the happier his family is with his behavior, the more he will shine with his accomplishments. We would like to see Oso in a home that includes him in family time and activities ( some couch and cuddling time would be perfect!)... and takes that extra step to participate in puppy kindergarten and positive reinforcement obedience classes. These classes take a very smart dog like Oso and molds them into a great family member that can behave appropriately in any situation. Oso would be a wonderful companion for active retirees who have the time and desire to be best friends with a truly adorable young pup. He would also do very well with dog-loving children who are gentle and respectful of Oso's quiet and very loving nature. Oso would enjoy another gentle dog to play with...he's so sweet and wonderful as he puts his positive energy into enjoying the day with a fun friend. Oso was identified as a Wheaten/Poodle mix (a Whoodle) by his Tijuana rescuer and vets (and we feel that's exactly the mix he looks like). He is a non-shedding guy who will require a commitment to periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep his gorgeous adult coat healthy, cottony-soft and matt-free. Oso is being fostered in the Denver area. Meet and Greets are being set up and applications are currently being accepted for our sweet pup with the dark, expressive eyes. If interested in this adorable ...and very fun and entertaining companion, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730.
