Rescue Me ID: 15-01-28-00030Rudy (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

We just recently rescued Rudy from a very scary high-kill Texas shelter...and now he's passed all his vetting and behavioral testing with flying colors and is ready for his transport to Colorado and his forever home. Our adorable little Rudy is just about 9 - 12 months old and approximately 17 lbs....and could not be sweeter. Rudy was described by the shelter as a free spirit (no needy behavior for Rudy) He appears to be a purebred Poodle...but a vet or 2 in Texas felt there could be a bit of Schnauzer in there. Therefore we're calling him a Schnauzer/Poodle mix..or a Schnoodle. Rudy is the perfect companion for anyone searching for a ... (Read More)very active dog who loves to spend his time playing with like-sized dog friends as well as his favorite people... taking a long hike, a run or snowshoeing on beautiful Colorado trails and paths would be the ultimate for this agreeable guy. After Rudy's gotten his physical exercise and mental stimulation for the day, He's ready to hop on the couch to engage in a serious belly rub session. Rudy is a great size at 17 lbs...perfect for coming along almost anywhere and would love nothing more than a car ride to a dog-friendly location. He would have so much fun..and his joy is infectious. He's also the perfect size to be a lap dog. Once a rescue dog is bonded, they're overjoyed to spend lap time. They come to understand that their family becomes the source of their joy, love and security. We envision Rudy in a home with dog-savvy retirees who enjoy spending lots of quality time with an entertaining little dog. We feel strongly feel that Rudy's new family must be open to taking this sweet guy to group obedience classes. He's so smart (Poodles often are) and he would derive so much pleasure from pleasing his family and learning the skills to be a very respectful member of the community. Rudy is a very young guy and needs to be guided toward great behavior (as all dogs do). As he learns these skills with the help of his people and in a positive way, Rudy will bond completely and practice great behaviors throughout his life. Farfel's is searching for a forever home for Rudy where he'll have the company of another young, play-loving dog companion and a fenced yard for his safety. He would be so excited to be able to run freely through the yard in the company of other fun-loving dogs. Rudy is a truly wonderful companion who needs just a few things in his life.... love, initial structure to give him an opportunity to understand what is being asked of him, kind words, petting and a place next to (or on) the bed...this would be a dream come true for this wonderful little guy. Rudy is a non-shedding dog (and considered to be one of the most hypoallergenic of breeds). He will therefore require great nutrition and periodic grooming to keep his coat healthy, cottony-soft and matt-free. Rudy is arriving on transport in Boulder on 1/30/15. Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. If you're interested in this sweet and very fun and entertaining companion, please fill out and return to farfelsapps@gmail.com. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-01-27-00010Betty Sue (female)

Poodle Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Oh little Betty Sue, it does not get much cuter than her! Betty Sue was found as stray on the scary streets of Houston Texas. She was so sweet and kind hearted she did not even try and run from the animal cops in Houston, she just curled up in a ball and wagged her tail a little, not knowing what was going on. At the time that Betty was brought to the shelter, it was so overcrowded that not even a dog as cute as Betty was going to make it out alive, so Farfels Rescue took it upon themselves to save her. Betty Sue has now been in a foster home in Texas for almost three weeks, and will be transported to CO this friday, 1/20/15. Her foster ... (Read More)mom just raves about how sweet and amazing she is. She is currently about 5 MO and weighs around 8lbs. Little Betty would do great in a home with other dogs. She loves to play with the fosters dogs of all sizes (her American bulldog, and her little Yorkie). If one dog is grumpy with her she does not care and just moves on. Betty would also do great in a home with kids, as she is not a delicate dog, but also not too rough. Betty is doing great with potty training and Crate training, but obviously is not perfect since she is still just a baby. Her foster mama says she is the smartest dog she has ever worked with and training her should be easy. On top of playing, Betty also LOVES to snuggle and lay on top of you or as close to you as possible. Because of the breeds that we speculate Betty is, we also believe that she is a very low - none shedding dog. The foster mom cannot guarantee it since she has 3 other dogs that shed a bunch so she is not 100% sure, but the chances are pretty great! If you are interested in Betty Sue please fill out an application at farfelsrescue.com (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-01-24-00168Oliver-PENDING! (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

The Poodle/Bichon mix is a perfect combo for those who are searching for an extremely smart and loyal family dog that is considered one of the most hypoallergenic breed mixes available. Of utmost importance as well...both breeds are famous for their great temperaments and extremely loving and snuggly ways. They're also known to be trustworthy and very gentle with family members (as long as the family is gentle and loving as well). They generally do very well with other family pets...and since (like all dogs) they require a certain amounts of exercise and mental stimulation...if a walk or outing is the order of the day - count them in! ... (Read More)These mixes are known to walk and play joyfully and energetically...and then crash on the couch snuggling close to their family. Oliver is an absolutely adorable and engaging guy who favors the intellect of the Poodle while taking on the very engaging qualities of the Bichon. Oliver's sweet nature is just waiting to be enjoyed and appreciated...he makes close playmates everywhere he goes. He is social and that means everyone he meets has the potential to become a friend. You know when a loved one approaches, Oliver's tail starts the greeting and it wiggles up through his entire body ending into a smile. And if a place is available next to a favorite family member, up Oliver goes to cuddle and snuggle and let you know the level of his devotion. Oliver is such a wonderful being...we think he represents the best qualities of his breeds. At approximately 9 - 12 months old and about 10 - 12 lbs, Oliver seems to have completely left behind the neglect and lack of love that made up his early life. He has become a fuzzy ball of good-will that loves to please - the happier his family is with his behavior, the more he shines with his accomplishments. We would like to see Oliver in a home that includes him in family time and activities...he's very social and would thrive in a family that truly loves him and considers him a very important family member. Oliver would be a wonderful companion for active retirees (remember that Oliver is a very young guy) or families with dog-crazy kids who understand the importance of being very gentle with a small dog. They need to have the time and desire to be best friends with a truly adorable young pup. Oliver doesn't require another dog to be happy...but does enjoy his canine relationships with like-sized, gentle dogs. We've requested that Oliver be neutered in Kansas. This is often not possible since there are too many unfixed dogs and not enough vets. If Oliver's neutering doesn't occur, Farfel's will be happy to cover all costs for his neuter and microchip (if one of our Denver vets is used) immediately upon his arrival in CO. Oliver will be arriving on transport in Denver on 1/30/15. Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. Rescue Me ID: 15-01-22-00034Penny-ADOPTION PENDING (female)

Poodle Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

We got a desperate email from Texas about Penny...the shelter was desperate to find a home for this unusually beautiful and so very loving Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle mix). We have never seen a Schnauzer of this coloring with the darkest of charcoal and the brightest of gold in her coat. But as beautiful as Penny is on the outside, it just doesn't compare with the love and good-will that flows from the heart of this approximately 6 - 6.5 year old, 14 lb dog. This is such a perfect age for any dog. They're young enough to be playful and active with many years ahead (this breed mix can live to a ripe old age of about 15 - 17 years old) and ... (Read More)old enough to be calm, peaceful and very low-maintenance. As our rescuer drove away from the dreary urban shelter, Penny was so filled with joy that she climbed into her lap, breathed a huge sigh of relief and fell fast asleep. She slept all the way to the vet's office for her temperament testing (she passed with flying colors) and got a PERFECT on her vetting assessment. So...off she went to her foster home...to be reminded of respectful house skills and to wait for her transport to Denver (she earned it with her great behavior) and a brand new life. Since Penny has gotten an A+ for sweetness, cuddling and general positive behavior...she's ready to be a devoted family member. We envision Penny in a home either with children who can play with and love Penny with a very gentle touch or in a home with retirees who will shower time and attention on this devoted and super-loving girl. We would never want Penny in a situation where she's alone for many hours. Instead we would love for her to be taken along on walks, adventures and even visits with dog-loving friends. She's almost impossible not to fall in love with...her manner speaks of softness and light. Penny also travels like a champ - she loves nothing more than to come along on errands, hikes and any adventure that keeps her together with those she loves. She would also be a natural to come along on vacations or getaways...she's so pleasant with everyone that she attracts admirers everywhere she goes. Penny is a non-shedding girl and will therefore require great nutrition and periodic bath/brushing to keep her coat shining and healthy. Penny will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Friday 1/23/15. Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. If you're interested in this sweet and endearing pup, please fill out and return to farfelsapps@gmail.com or mail a hard copy to Farfel's Farm 906 Pearl Street Boulder, CO 80302. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-01-22-00024Belle (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Belle is an incredibly cute ball of cottony-softness that climbs into your heart (and lap) with a wiggle and a kiss. Once she gets a sudsy bath and grooming...she'll absolutely be one of the cutest girls around. At about 3 - 3.5 years old and 11 lbs, Belle is every bit the playful pup...fun and active and loves to horseplay outside with like-sized dogs. At at the same time. she is a well-behaved dog who is not yappy or unnecessarily vocal - she expresses herself with her wagging tail and excited kisses. At this point in Belle's development, she loves everyone..be it human or canine. We want to nurture this positive vision of the world ... (Read More)by matching Belle to a family who expresses their devotion for her in many different ways. We'd also like Belle to attend positive reinforcement group obedience group classes to be the very best adult dog she's capable of being. Right now, Belle is a blank slate who will soak up positive feedback with every effort to be the best behaved girl around. We'd like Belle to find her forever place in either a family with gentle older children (10+ would be great) or with active retirees who will include her in their daily activities. Belle is so portable that she can easily be a constant companion - she would love nothing more than leisurely walks (and is quite good on a leash), trips to the store (she's a great window-shopping friend) or even a place at a pet-friendly workplace would be perfect for this sweet and lovable pup. Belle is open and curious and therefore can be introduced to virtually any situation...and if there is love and gentle guidance...she can succeed. Belle's new family needs to have the desire to love and take responsibility for a true-blue, long-term companion. This commitment will result in a very bonded and completely loyal best friend for life. Belle will choose to be close when you want to play, cuddle or just need a best friend to be there in challenging times. Belle is a non-shedding pup and will therefore require great nutrition and periodic grooming to keep her stunning coat cottony-soft and matt-free. Belle will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Friday 1/23/15. Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. Rescue Me ID: 15-01-21-00024Callie-PENDING! (female)

Poodle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

When Callie's rescuer walked down the aisle of the dismal Texas shelter, she was shocked to see the adorable (and extremely dirty and matted) Callie tucked tightly into a cage...her time was up. Farfel's immediately got a call describing how incredibly cute and sweet this Poodle is..and the need to save her life. We immediately agreed and Callie became a very treasured Farfel's dog. She earned a ticket to a wonderful new life in Colorado with her great personality and kind and positive attitude toward the world. At about 3 - 3.5 years old and 13 lbs, this very beautiful pup is a blank slate waiting for positive input and guidance to be the ... (Read More)best dog she's capable of being. We'd love to match Callie to a family that will spend lots of time with this very portable girl. She's a perfect size to accompany her family just about anywhere...and would love it. Positive reinforcement group obedience class will not only provide socialization and great skills...but will cement the relationship between Callie and her family. Callie gets lots of attention when she's out and about...she's very engaging (while a bit shy at first) and as sweet as can be. She's also extremely eye-catching...she appears to be a purebred Poodle but we would never swear to it. We just don't see another breed in this beautiful dog. When Callie turns that gentle look in your direction, you can't help but smile at her wise ways. You can see just a bit of a sign that this young pup has had difficult times. But not for her to be negative..a smile and a wag is more Callie's style. It's clear that Callie has left any pain behind. Farfel's Rescue is searching for an adult family (or with older kids 12+) for Callie. It''s not that she doesn't like young kids...we just feel she wouldn't be comfortable with any tail-pulling or awkward carrying. A retired couple or individual would be perfect for this girl. She would thrive on the time and attention that retirees often put into their pets. Callie, once bonded, will be a loyal and positive companion....that makes her very easy to spend time with just enjoying the wonders of life in Colorado. Callie would also enjoy time with dogs of similar size who can be gentle playmates. When you're only 13 lbs, even a very well-adjusted puppy can be intimidated by large, rambunctious dogs. Callie, as you can see in her photo, is in desperate need of grooming. She has a shed-free, cotton-soft coat that requires periodic grooming to keep it healthy and matt-free. Farfel's will be happy to cover the cost of grooming at our rescue groomer if Callie arrives on transport without having had a spa day. Callie will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Friday 1/23/15. Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. Rescue Me ID: 15-01-20-00814  (female)

Poodle Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed

There's nothing quite like puppy energy and silliness...and then they lie quietly on your shoulder breathing their warm baby breath. They're so pure and vulnerable that it's unbearable to think of them in a high-kill shelter! Lola, at only 9 months old and about 35 lbs (estimated to be full grown at about 45 - 50 lbs), was facing the end of her life before it ever began. Farfel's Texas rescuers are compassionate and loving and couldn't turn their back on this puppy...they rescued Lola just in time. This sweet and engaging Labradoodle is starting out with great energy...the excellent results of her temperament-testing ended with a transport ... (Read More)ticket to Colorado and a new life. Lola is an incredibly beautiful Doodle...with the gorgeous streaks of whitest white interwoven with the shining charcoal through the waves of Lola's Poodle-like coat. Lola is in desperate need of a spa day. If she doesn't receive this in Texas, Farfel's will be happy to cover the cost of grooming at our Denver groomer. If she does get cleaned- up in Texas, we'll post a photo of the shiny and gorgeous Lola just as soon as we get it. Lola is appropriately playful and inquisitive for her young age. She'll be perfect for hiking the Colorado mountains..it will bring her the greatest joy! She's so smart...very typical of the cross of a Lab and a Poodle. The one thing that's clear is that she's an amazing lover (would love to be a lap dog if possible). She's bright and so loving...clearly having no memory of her scary start. Since Lola is such a young girl, she's a blank slate just waiting for a kind and patient human to show her the way. She has all the potential in the world to be an awesome family companion - she'll form firm bonds with her family (as well as other dogs & humans) and learn positive socialization skills through Puppy Socialization Class followed by group Obedience Classes. It does take time and commitment...yet pays off a thousand times over when you have a dog that can accompany you in the world with appropriate behavior. We're open to Lola finding her forever home with a very active retired couple or individual with lots of energy to train and enjoy a young pup. Lola is great with children as well but we would prefer to place her in a home with older kids 10+ that can participate in a gentle yet consistent training regiment. Lola will be up to date on her vetting and has been spayed. This fulfills our commitment to only adopting out healthy and well-balanced dogs. Lola's fixing prior to adoption is in line with our commitment to be a part of the solution to pet overpopulation. Lola is a stunning combination of a shedding and a non-shedding breed but already has the curlier coat of the Poodle which indicates a non-shedding dog. We don't feel, however, that we can guarantee her suitability for an individual with truly severe allergy challenges. Lola will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Friday 1/23/15. Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. Rescue Me ID: 15-01-20-00804Bernard (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered

Bernard is one of those guys that got caught in an overcrowded and dreary high-kill shelter through no fault of his own. It's so difficult for any particular dog to stand out and get the acknowledgement for a great temperament (and being so very handsome with a shining black and silver coat and bright blue eyes.) - and therefore get spared from euthanasia. As you might imagine...Bernard must have been SO very special. He was recognized for the exceptional dog he is and efforts were put forth to insure his safety and ultimate adoption...he would be a dream come true for anyone who enjoys the dignified personality of the Shih Tzu combined ... (Read More)with the very intelligent and playful personality of the Poodle. Bernard's foster mom had the following to say about this gorgeous guy: Bernard is a calm yet playful guy who really doesn't have a single negative trait! He's a lovebug who wants nothing more than to warm your lap and be devoted and SO sweet! He's perfect in the house and has been trustworthy in every situation. He's absolutely great with me, my husband, our 3 kids (from 6 - 15 years old) and our 2 dogs. Bernard is, hands down, just about the most perfect and loving dog I've ever fostered. His lucky new family is getting a true gem! Farfel's Rescue was contacted to help find this wonderful guy the greatest home possible..he deserves the love and respect of a forever family. Bernard is an exceptional doll baby (words of his foster mom) that is 4 - 4.5 years old and 20 lbs. He's such a great age...old enough to be beyond the puppyish behavior that can be so challenging yet young enough to have many, many active years ahead. Also, at 20 lbs..Bernard is the perfect size to walk (or hike) the Colorado mountains. We envision this super-loving pup either in an adult household who choose to spend lots of time with a fuzzy best friend. Or Bernard would be overjoyed with the company of gentle kids and dogs. He would be so excited with the playtime and then at day's end, would be the greatest snuggler ever. Bernard is so good-natured and respectful that he would be a great companion to be out and about with. Bernard has been in a foster home in Texas while waiting for his transport to Denver (his great behavior and sweet nature earned him this ticket). He has been working on his home and socialization skills and we're so proud of his progress. Bernard is a non-shedding guy who will require periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep his stunning coat (with the most beautiful silver-streaks on charcoal black) healthy and cottony-soft. Bernard will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Friday 1/23/15. Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. Rescue Me ID: 15-01-11-00013Pompeii (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see an adorable young puppy. They're so new and fresh with every possibility open to them. That's the case unless they're in a high-kill shelter that is dismal, not the most sanitary environment and quickly runs out of space. This is the situation that Pompeii was put into at 8 weeks old. It's not unusual to see opportunistic breeding with both the Norfolk and Poodle breeds ...and if all doesn't go perfectly...out they go into the street or to a high-kill shelter. Such was the case with Pompeii when it was found that he was allergic to fleas...and fleas in Houston in the summer is an ... (Read More)inevitable state of affairs. We're so grateful for the efforts of our great Texas rescuer in saving Pompeii...she could see that his temperament was so loving and sweet that she couldn't allow him to be euthanized. Pompeii was immediately brought to be vetted - he was pronounced a healthy baby who needed a clean home where fleas weren't an issue. He was brought to be fostered...and with love, soothing baths, healthy food and a clean, insect-free spot..his skin will heal. His coat is slowly growing into a layer of cottony-soft fawn and chocolate...so beautiful! Our adorable Pompeii desperately needs a spa day. If that doesn't occur prior to his transport, Farfel's will be happy to cover his first grooming at our compassionate rescue groomer's salon in Denver. It turns out that Pompeii, at only 2 months old, is so wonderful and cooperative that it's been a fun and rewarding experience for his foster mom. He's like a blank slate...open and curious about everything around him. If Pompeii continues to be properly socialized, he will become a well-adjusted and devoted adult companion. If he is treated kindly with clear behavioral guidelines, Pompeii will become a well-behaved guy who respects his family as his leaders. This is the kind of family we're searching for for Pompeii. Since Pompeii is a combo of active, fun-loving breeds, we also feel it's very important that he is provided with exercise and mental stimulation. Pompeii will be a perfect size to enjoy hiking and snowshoeing in the Colorado mountains and then small enough to be the perfect lap dog at the end of an active day. We'd also like a family who spends lots of time at home and chooses to include a fuzzy companion in their activities. Pompeii can be taught that the car is a fun place that leads to great adventures out in the community and can therefore accompany his family just about anywhere. Pompeii will be arriving on transport in Denver on Saturday 1/17/2015. Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/. Rescue Me ID: 15-01-10-00299Venice-PENDING! (female)

Poodle Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

It's shocking to walk down the aisle of an extremely dreary high-kill Texas shelter and see the gorgeous (yet very matted) Venice..with her 2 puppies by her side. Your mind can't help but go to..how and why did these exceptional dogs (both inside & out) get in this horrendous situation? It's fortunate that the awesome volunteers at this shelter do everything possible to save the lives of dogs with great temperaments. The numbers are still very sad and bring home the urgent need to spay/neuter. Venice (and her babies) were three of the extremely fortunate as they rode away from the shelter to a new life. Venice had babies at a very young ... (Read More)age..and finally at approximately 18 - 24 months old..she is spayed and ready to move on to the great life she deserves. Venice is a very friendly and engaging soul who has earned the right (through a great temperament) to a wonderful life. Her great Texas foster mom is reinforcing with Venice the appropriate behavior in a home. Venice is very receptive and her wonderful..and sometimes silly..personality is emerging. While initially a bit shy, Venice warms up into the sweetest girl ever. She's so affectionate and cuddly..and with just a bit of encouragement, she can play with all her heart. Her scraggly..yet cottony-soft hair flies in the breeze as she plays with with her puppies(and the doggie herd) at her foster's house. Venice is just starting to grow a lovely coat as she's showing the benefit of a healthy diet and clean conditions. With consistent great nutrition and protection from fleas and filth, Venice will be a stunning girl with a cottony-soft, non-shedding (or so it seems at this point) coat. Venice is very receptive to people and as she turns her head to give you a smile..you see her amazing markings - they're so striking! She's so unusually beautiful and sweet..again the shock that she was about to be euthanized for dermatitis (completely reversible skin condition brought on by fleas!). But since all that is in the past..it's now time for Venice to have her very own forever family. Her foster is working on her already good socialization and leash skills in preparation for Venice's trip to a very lucky Colorado family. This training will need to continue to make Venice the very best adult dog she can be...and there's tons of potential in this engaging little dog. We envision Venice with dog-loving retirees (and at about 15 lbs, Venice is very portable and can accompany her family just about anywhere.) We can also picture Venice in a family with older children (kids 10+ who are beyond pulling tails would be great)...she would love to walk the CO trails or play in the yard with another respectful dog and fun older kids. She's so positive and loving (once she has a bit of time to bond) that it's impossible not to fall in love. At day's end, she'll be a super-cuddler..and given a bit of time..a devoted and loyal best friend. Venice will be arriving on transport in Boulder on Saturday 1/17/2015. Applications are currently being accepted and can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/.     We adopted Luna from the Denver Dumb Friends League. Family includes: adult female, 1 teen female, 1 teen male. Luna is really a loving, cute girl. She wants to play and romp about a lot more than I can do for her. She deserves a human who is home most of the time and can take the time she needs to quell her high anxiety. She is resource protective and doesn't do well with males. She is okay around most dogs but can sometimes be aggressive. According to the vet, she is high anxiety and exhibits the behavior of a dog that has been severely abused. I do not want to put her in back in a shelter and would like to find a loving and ...     This sweet 9# poodle was rescued from a high kill shelter where he was dumped by his former owner, left scared and shaking and sad through no fault of his own. This little boy has been neutered, is up to date on shots, and is healthy 5-6 year old. He is heartworm negative and will be sent to his new home with a Proheart 6 month heartworm prevention. He has curly white fur with butterscotch markings on his back, a chocolate brown nose, and intelligent bright brown eyes. He is house-trained with frequent trips outside during the day. Scotchy loves cuddling up in a lap or on the bed next to his people. With a good diet and proper grooming (his ... He is looking for a quiet home with a human who wants a small, sensitive dog as a constant companion.
