Poodle Rescue Information: Poodles come in several different varieties which are classified based on size. Generally, smaller Poodle varieties tend to be more hyperactive while larger Poodles are more mellow. Poodles love people and are good with children and other dogs. Poodles are easy to train. This breed can live in an apartment with enough daily exercise.

Poodle Trivia: Poodles appear in art from ancient Rome. Poodles do not shed and are popular for breeding with other dogs to produce a relatively non-allergenic hybrid. The name Poodle comes from a German word describing someone who likes the water. Poodles are widely considered to be French, but there is debate over whether they may have originated in Germany or Denmark.

Kush was surrendered because his owner was incarcerated. He is housetrained, good with kids, cats, and dogs. He's very calm and relaxed so would prefer a home with a calm or older dog. He is a beagle-poo, a mix intended to blend the adventurous beagle with the hypoallergenic poodle, although he doesn't require grooming like the poodle. He has been neutered and is UTD on his shots. He did arrive overweight due to his previous owner feeding him human food but he is at a very comfortable weight now. He's friendly and loves to go for rides with his other shelter brothers and sisters. I've tried to rename him but he already knows his name.. maybe ... (Read More)you'll have more luck? (Less)
