Poodle Mix    Age: Puppy

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Panda is a 1 year old male Poodle mix. We do not know what he is mixed with, but he is only 14 lbs. He is a sweet, little playful guy that needs a home that has the time and care to give to him. When he was rescued on the street he was found in a bad condition. His hair was long, matted, he had fleas and his hair was covered in burrs! His foster parents cleaned him up and have gave him love and care like he so desperately needed and now he is ready for his forever home! Panda is leash trained and is working on his house training. He gets along well with other dogs, big and small. Panda has been neutered and is updated on shots. If you would ... Rescue Me ID: 14-09-03-00237Jack (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament

We believe Jack to be a poodle/sheltie mix and around 13 years old. His relationship with the shelter began when we received a call about a dog that had been laying in a ditch for several hours and could not move. Upon arrival it was determined he had been hit by a car and had a serious pelvic injury. He was rushed to the vet and put on strict bed rest. We were not sure if he was going to make it, but 2 years later, here he is...walking, running and loving life to the fullest. He would love to live out the rest of his life snuggled up in his own bed, in his own home, with his own people.

lnteresting Poodle Trivia Low-Cost Georgia Spay & Neuter Clinics
Poodles appear in art from ancient Rome. Poodles do not shed and are popular for breeding with other dogs to produce a relatively non-allergenic hybrid. The name Poodle comes from a German word describing someone who likes the water. Poodles are widely considered to be French, but there is debate over whether they may have originated in Germany or Denmark.
