Poodle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Hi guys! We rescued Beau from a kill shelter about 3 months ago and absolutely fell in love with him. He is about 3 years old and such a charmer. He has such a sweet temperament and is kind to both our toddler daughter and our other dog. He does have a lot of energy and is very playful! He definitely needs to be in a home with an active family that will engage him, walk him regularly, and play with him. We thought that we would be able to keep him, but unfortunately are a bit overwhelmed with two dogs and a toddler. With that being said, we are adamant that he go to a good home, and have put measures into place to ensure this. He is current ... (Read More)on all of his vaccines and flea/tick/HW prevention. He will come with his crate and his bed, as well as some of his food (Natural Balance, Limited Ingredient Diet Formula). He does have a sensitive stomach, and is on this particular food per the vet's recommendations. If you inquire, I will send you an application to fill out and I will require both personal and vet references. The adoption fee is also in place for this reason. Lastly, we will conduct a home check before adopting Beau out and releasing his vet records. I look forward to hearing from you! SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY!!! (Less)

Animal ID: 020217MARGIE (female)

Poodle    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Vaccinations Current

AKC Female Red Standard Poodle Puppy. Margie is 09 months old. Margie is a loving, good natured girl who loves the outdoors. She can play rough and she can be very stubborn. Margie loves to ride, play fetch, tug, hide and seek, and chase. She loves toys . Margie is on a heartworm preventative and she has been health tested. Margie needs to other big dogs to play with and has other adult standards now to learn from and play with. Margie is also around small poodles & they know to hide or get out of her clumsy way. She can be very gentle & loves to get in my lap and be loved on. She is still growing but will be a big dog, she should ... (Read More)weigh from 50 to 55 pounds as she matures. Margie prefers women to men. Margie loves treats, carrots, cranberries, apples, & most any raw or cooked veggie and fruits that are safe for dogs. She is on a grain free puppy food but loves oatmeal too. She is very smart and if she doesn't like you, you have to prove you are trust worthy. Margie loves water, baths, & loves being clipped and brushed. Margie has a long tail. You must have a fenced yard, fill out applications from me, just request them, and someone must be home with her. She is housetrained and minds well when she knows what you are asking her to do. I feel she would do better with a couple or a woman with no young children. Once she trusts you, she is fine. She walks well on a leash but loves to run free. I do check all references, vets, groomers, etc. Margie can never be bred but I feel the older the standards are, the healthier they are later in life. There is a separate form to sign for any non-altered puppy which is a legally binding. If you met all these requirements, then ask me for the forms for adoption. There is a FEE. I am NO way associated with the group known as GA Rescue. I do NOT charge you a fee to fill out forms or applications. Thank you so much for considering to adopt a rescue. (Less)

Animal ID: 041017JACK (male)

Poodle    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Vaccinations Current

AKC Male Black/Blue Standard Poodle Puppy. Jack is almost 10 months old, a very sweet, loving, playful, active goofy boy. Jack loves to be outdoors and is a joy to watch run or play chase. To adopt: You must REQUEST an application from me. You must have a fenced yard, Jack can NEVER be used as a stud, & someone needs to be home with Jack. There is a FEE. Jack came from FL and his family is in the military & being assigned out of the country. I do 2 home visits, a before and an after, I check all references, vets, & groomers. Jack will weigh around 60 pounds to 65 pounds when he reaches adult hood. I'm working with him doing basic ... (Read More)training and commands. He had to learn to be an inside (only) dog. He loves toys, fetch, chase, riding in the car, visiting places where he get to meet people & dogs. I am transitioning him to a grain free diet so now he loves to eat. Jack would do best with another standard to play with or a big dog. He is now around both big standards and small poodles. He is at a clumsy stage and can look really goofy. He is very fast, has a natural tail, & doesn't seem to mind being bathed or groomed. He is on the small side and very friendly to everyone. Jack walks well on a leash & is sleeping at least 6 hours a night. ( he would probably sleep longer if I did) I feel Jack would do well with a family with kids OVER 6 years old, a couple or a single person. Jack is not a backyard breeders puppy. He has been checked out and I also had him health checked to be sure nothing was wrong with him. He is on a heartworm preventative now also. Jack loves walking with me and loves to explore every new scent or thing he can. He walks good on leash. He loves being loved on and loves to 'try' to sit in my lap. Jack is a super sweet standard. I am NO way associated with the group known as GA Rescue. I do not charge a fee for applications. Thank you for considering a rescue. They make the best companions ever. (Less)
