Rescue Me ID: 15-05-04-00489Charlie Bear (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Very Low Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Needs Vaccinations, Malnourished,
 Abused/Neglected

This little guy, we call him Charlie Bear, is approximately 2-3 years old, according to the vet, has not been micro-chipped, and is extremely underweight at about 5.5 - 6 pounds. When I found Charlie Bear he weighed about 4 pounds, had blisters on all of his feet, and had not had any sort of grooming done from anal glands to teeth and all the other parts in between. His feet are now beginning to heal and he has gained some weight. That being said, Charlie Bear will need a parent/family who can continue the care on his feet, help him gain weight at a slow and steady pace, have him vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is still weak from ... (Read More)malnourishment and I suspect he may have some sort of kidney/metabolic problem because of the amount of water that he drinks and the lack of energy. I would love to continue to care for Charlie Bear, I just cannot afford the vet care he needs. I have 4 kids, 4 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 geckos, my hands are full. Please consider the amount of personal care and the financial cost before contacting me. I need to find him a family soon, every day that goes by is another day that he suffers. I live in west GA, Paulding County. THANKS!!! (Less)

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hello! We are James (blonde) and Dean (brown) - two sweet, 5 month old , male ,terrier mix pups! We are currently in foster care and doing great! Our favorite pastimes include running and playing with each other and our foster friends! We can usually be found romping in the backyard, lounging the in sun and chasing bugs. We LOVE other dogs and would thrive in a home with other active pups. While we do love each other, please note we don't need to be adopted together. Our foster mom wants you to know that we are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. We both weigh about 10-11 lbs each and shouldn't get too much bigger. She also ... (Read More)wants you to know that we have been really great about going potty outside. If you keep us on a schedule, we should do okay! Since we are young and somewhat unsure of ourselves we can be shy/nervous with new people/places .but we do warm up quickly! Mom is certain however, that with some obedience training and confidence boosting activities, we will be great dogs. Lastly, Mom wanted us to point out that due to our breed, we will need grooming occasionally or we could mat. Please consider adding us to your family-we are so much fun! Thanks!! (Less)
