Rescue Me ID: 18-05-18-00285Winny (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

We thought this little guy deserved some royal treatment and a royal name befitting his new found freedom and journey into his new life, and a nod to a wedding we happened to hear about...So we shall call him 'Sir Hairy Windsor Snuffleupagus'. His name at the shelter was Snuffleupagus and looking at his previous condition we can certainly understand why, he does look like a woolly mammoth, poor guy. Winny(as we call him) was in such pain with all of those mats and after being sheered down he is a whole new man. He has the most beautiful mahogany coloring, very unique. Winny was a bit fearful at the shelter and unsure of his surrounding so he ... (Read More)came to rescue to settle in and start feeling like himself. At the shelter he was a bit testy, but that happens often. but for that reason we do not recommend he live with small children. We are looking for a dog savvy home that understands he needs time to settle in and figure out his new life. So often a family will be so excited about bringing home their new pal that they want to hug, bathe, cuddle, and introduce him to everyone. But, that is just way to stressful for many dogs and they may behave poorly. Winny will need time and patience to settle in at his pace. He did incredibly well here and we let him move ahead at his own speed, and must say he did way better than we had expected. He LOVES being outside is such a happy and outgoing little guy, does great with the other dogs(does get a bit jealous on occasion) and listens well. Winny enjoys going for walks and snuggling by your side as well. He is about 3-5 years old, maybe a tad on the younger side and around 13 pounds. His adoption fee is $325 and he comes with plenty of supplies to help him settle into his new home. Please email Kristine at joysparrows@gmail.com. (Less)

(Read More)So keep any eye on the site for any animals being added as available for adoption as new animals are added everyday! I would recommend if you haven't done so already that you submit a general online adoption application with us so it is on file for when you are ready to come out and adopt. The adoption counselors will be able to show you many that would be a good fit for your family. We do go in order of when you submitted your application with us. So it is always best that you get your general application for any animal in with us as soon as possible. (Less)

Poodle Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Gucci is a handsome, sweet, and loving, seven-year-old, 16-pound, skinny male, Cockapoo looking for a dog-loving guardian. Gucci adores people and is a super snuggler. He also loves his squeaky toys and walking around with his toys in his mouth. Gucci was given up to rescue when his family could no longer care for him. He was often locked in a bathroom while his family was working. He longs for a family with time and love to share with him. Please note, Gucci needs an experienced Owner as he has nipped at Men in the past. Gucci would do best with a Woman adopter.

Tito is a handsome, cuddly and fun, two to three-year-old, 18-pound, male white Lhasa-Poo looking for a loving guardian. Tito is a playful guy who loves to play with toys.
