 Heartworm Positive, Abused/Neglected

Sweet, sweet Millie, a little blind poodle, dumped at a high kill shelter, unwanted by her owners. She is special needs because she's blind, but like most blind dogs, she makes up for it with her other keen senses. She has made herself quite comfortable in her foster home. She's one of the pack and knows where the bed and the kitchen are! She goes outside to potty with the rest of the dogs and even runs a bit with the other pups in the yard. She mostly loves to be where ever you are! She is heartworm positive but is being treated. This girl needs a safe and loving forever home for as little or as long as she is here to give her ... Rescue Me ID: 16-04-06-00505Hazel (female)

Poodle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Hazel is a female Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix, to our best guess. She was born about 3/2013. She is spayed up to date on shots, and heart worm positive( she has been started on heart worm prevention and over a period of time the worms will die off naturally). She gets along well with other dogs, cats, and kids. This cute baby found herself at a high kill shelter and was rescued just in time. She now wants a home to call her own forever.
