Rescue Me ID: 16-07-23-00092Madison (female)

Poodle    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Madison is an 11 year old poodle who loves to cuddle up with people as much as she likes to run around outside. She is great to take for walks in the woods, she plays fetch, and she'll curl up by your feet when it's time to rest. She acts younger than she is. She is best with children over 8. She does well with one other dog, as long as it's a larger calm dog. She's been a great pet, but we are unable to spend enough time with her and she needs company.

Rescue Me ID: 16-07-05-00228Charlie (male)

Poodle    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Most Cats
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

Charlie is a Standard weighing about 60lbs, He is high energy, loving, particularly with children. My experience is with neighboring children, he has not lived with children. He is nervous around other dogs and would require slow introduction to any other animal. He will nip another dog if allowed access. My home has toxic air infiltration and I can not keep him.

Poodles appear in art from ancient Rome. Poodles do not shed and are popular for breeding with other dogs to produce a relatively non-allergenic hybrid. Poodles have been used as circus performers. Poodles are widely considered to be French, but there is debate over whether they may have originated in Germany or Denmark.
