|Rescue Me ID: 16-05-29-00292Duffy (male)|
Duffy, a 2 to 3 year old neutered male Poodle mix was rescued from the animal control facility in Okinawa Japan and is pending arrival in the USA (mid-June). We are not sure what else Duffy is mixed with but he weighs about 45 pounds and seems to have some Retriever in him. Either way, he is an awesome dog! He is a low shedder and will need regular grooming to look him best. Duffy gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children. He is house and crate trained and loves to go on walks. We would consider him to be medium energy as he 'chills out' between exercise. Duffy is still working on basic obedience and leash skills but is food motivated and picking things up fast. Duffy could be an only dog but may prefer another fuzzy for company. At this point, we do not feel he would do okay being left home alone for many hours at a time without a break. He is too new to house living. Duffy is fully vetted and heart worm negative. He is on monthly heart worm and flea/tick preventatives. When inquiring about Duffy, please provide some information about your family make up (people in the home and ages for children), where you live (town/city), whether you live in a house, apartment, condo or townhouse, whether you own or rent, if you have a fenced yard, if you have any other pets and if so, what they are, genders, ages and if they are fully vetted (including spay/neuter), also what kind of dog experience you have, how long a dog would be left home alone on a regular basis without any kind of check/potty break, and if you would welcome a home visit. |Rescue Me ID: 16-05-06-00380Jay-jay (male)|
Jay-jay is just the cutest little Maltipoo! He's just 8 years old & about 10 #s. He loves EVERYBODY! He's such a good boy, very affectionate. His vision is a little cloudy due to some early cataracts, but you'd never know it really, he gets around just fine! He's super smart, he learned to navigate the doggie door in one day! He'll come to you neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, & microchipped. His adoption fee is $300 to cover his vetting.
