Rescue Me ID: 18-03-09-00317Malu (male)

Poodle    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Very Low Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected

He is only 9 pounds and he is very short. He is an awesome dog and I have brought him to his full capability. When I first got him you could not even touch him he was so scared he would urinate all over. Now he will come up to you and lick your hand and you can pick him up. He is not housebroken because he is a puppy mill dog but if you pick him up and take him outside he will go to the bathroom. He must have another dog because that is what he knows and that is what he is comfortable with. He must have a fenced in yard because that is what he is used to. He loves dog beds and dog cots. The vet thinks he is about eight years old and ... (Read More)everything is done to him especially the extensive dental. There is nothing more you can possibly do to this dog that I have not already done. I have over $800 into him. He does not know how to walk on a leash because he has never been given that life. He needs a life that he is supposed to have. I think little kids would scare him with their sudden movements so I would prefer no kids. He does not care about cats or dogs. He actually got attacked by a dog and just hid in the corner and cried. That tells you how submissive he is but keep in mind the dog that attacked him has no teeth so there was no damage done my point of telling you that is that he is very submissive. I will require adoption application I will make sure your dogs are current and are given heart guard every month. He is heartworm negative and current on heart guard and must stay on it. If you are interested in him please call 618-579-9317. He Waddles when he walks and it is the cutest thing ever. He is the shortest poodle I have ever seen for being 9 pounds. I know there is the perfect home out there for him as I have had him for roughly 9 months to rehabilitate him and I feel he is ready for a family of his own (Less)
