Poodle Rescue Information: Poodles come in several different varieties which are classified based on size. Generally, smaller Poodle varieties tend to be more hyperactive while larger Poodles are more mellow. Poodles love people and are good with children and other dogs. Poodles are easy to train. This breed can live in an apartment with enough daily exercise.

Poodle Trivia: Poodles appear in art from ancient Rome. The name Poodle comes from a German word describing someone who likes the water. Poodles are widely considered to be French, but there is debate over whether they may have originated in Germany or Denmark.

Poodle Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations, Seizures

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] My husband and I ran a dog rescue for the last 10 years at our rural property. Our dogs lived in a comfortable home environment with as much love and attention as they desired. But my husband passed away unexpectedly a few months ago and I can no longer stay at the property, so I am having to rehome some of our dogs. I am moving in 2-4 weeks. Oliver is a friendly, enthusiastic little guy. I've always called him our little circus dog. He is a lot of fun. He is fearful of new people, but very friendly after getting to know them. He seems uncomfortable with my other dogs, seems to be because he is quite the ... (Read More)underdog here... Oliver has some health issues, but all are manageable. -Epilepsy-he takes phenobarbital every 12 hours -Bladder stones- he is on special food, very possible needs surgery. Oliver is having issues holding his urine because of the stones... (I am unable to afford the surgery in my situation, don't let this stop you, I will do whatever I can to help with this!) -Blind in one eye from an injury - stable, no further treatment needed -History of Pancreatitis - will have no more issues as long as he stays on his prescribed food I want more than anything to find Oliver a loving home to live out his life. I feel terrible he has been left in this position. I planned to keep him forever. I have been trying to find her a new home for 3 months now. I am getting really worried. Please contact me if you would like to meet this very special guy. Feel free to text me 5732752936. Thanks! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-07-19-00163Pootie (female)

Poodle Mix

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Incontinent

[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] My neighbor found her in a house he bought to flip. I took her in. She is not chipped and no one has responded to ads I placed trying to find her owner. She is super sweet and lovable. She leaks urine but I put her in diapers sometimes. She is good with baths but does not like to be brushed, or have her haircut or nails trimmed. She gets along great with my dogs and my cat.
