The cost of adoption will cover her to be groomed 35 and a vet visit to get current on vaccinations about 75. I will make the appointment for the vet and the money for the vet can be paid directly to them. Rosie is a sweet dog, who needs more attention and time than my family has. She is almost 8 years old, born 11/14/2008. She has no health issues. When watched closely and on a schedule she is potty trained. We have lots of clothes, she wears in the winter which will go with her to her knew forever home. Her mother was a peekapoo and father a bichon fries. Her weight is maybe 20 pounds; a small dog, but bigger than a toy. If interested I ... (Read More)can provide more photos. We have considered family, so we want her to go to a very good home. This was not a decision made lightly. After thoughtful prayer I have decided it would be best to find her a new home with someone who has the time to allow her to be the lap dog she is designed to be. Rosie is hyper when she does not receive enough attention and will jump out of excitement to see you. Yet when you spend time with her she will lay in your arms like a baby in complete contentment. With my work I am gone much of the time, and my children are teens and gone much of the time. She came to our home at 5 weeks old, where her family has included another dog, cats, and children. She does get nervous around toddlers who pull at her. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-08-12-00544Max (male)

Poodle    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Blind, Deaf

Max is a sweet boy with a lot of life left. He loves to cuddle on the couch and sometimes decides to wrestle for brief periods. He is great with other animals as long as they are not high energy. He has never bit anybody and even if he did he has approximately 7 teeth left. He recently lost his sight and hearing so it's not safe in my opinion for him to be around small children for fear of them not watching for him and him getting hurt. Would make a great companion for a retired individual. He is house trained, leash trained, and crate trained. He barks if he gets lost in the house or just needs you. He is 5 pounds when he has a hair cut, he ... (Read More)hates the groomers very much.he is 10 and a half years old. We had blood work done to test kidney and liver function and the vet said he has the blood of a dog half his age. Very loving boy. (Less)

Poodle Mix

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Incontinent

[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] My neighbor found her in a house he bought to flip. I took her in. She is not chipped and no one has responded to ads I placed trying to find her owner. She is super sweet and lovable. She leaks urine but I put her in diapers sometimes. She is good with baths but does not like to be brushed, or have her haircut or nails trimmed. She gets along great with my dogs and my cat.

lnteresting Poodle Trivia Low-Cost Missouri Spay & Neuter Clinics
Poodles appear in art from ancient Rome. The name Poodle comes from a German word describing someone who likes the water. Poodles are widely considered to be French, but there is debate over whether they may have originated in Germany or Denmark.
