Rescue Me ID: 15-10-26-00370Rita Mae (female)

Poodle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Rita Mae is a 2 year old Scottie/Poodle mix who weighs 7 pounds. She is still learning the joys of being an indoor pampered pet and the fine art of being house trained. Rita Mae will require a patient owner with a resident dog and a securely fenced yard. Due to her small size and her shyness, we will be looking for an adult only home or with children over the age of 10. The suggested adoption donation for Rita Mae is a minimum of $400 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs. Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts only to people living in states neighboring Nebraska and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to ... (Read More)pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not transport or fly our rescue dogs. A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers. Please note, invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment for terriers. (Less)

Poodle Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This is Adler and he and his brother were saved from death. Adler is way more skittish and scared, yet in the couple weeks I have had him in my home as a foster he has grown so much. He needs a calm and understanding home. He has never been a part of a family before and is literally learning how to be a dog. For this reason he will do best in a home with another dog to help guide him. He doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body, so I think he would be fine with children and in time would be that cuddly couch potato and hiking partner that most families are looking for. He will require a bit more work, but honestly he is so absolutely ... (Read More)worth it. (Less)
