Send us an email requesting an application to start the adoption process-- AND Visit our main website Follow us on Facebook Facebook page Approximate DOB 07/01/2013 Size - About 8 lbs History- Picked up by animal control and left unclaimed. She was very scared and had a large scab that looked as though someone had burned the whole left side of her neck and she was pregnant. A plea went out to rescue she needed to get out of the shelter so she could get ... (Read More)medical treatment and have her puppies in a calmer environment. She ended up giving birth to two babies the day before transport to us- unfortunately both babies died that night. Everyone was heartbroken. She came to us very scared - she had had so many changes in her life in such a short time she didn't know who to trust. Over the last 3 weeks she has finally started trusting us- coming over for belly rubs and pets.. Her neck has healed (though it might remain bald in that section) and she seems to be doing very well considering everything she has been through. Temperament- Very shy at first but is very sweet, loving and gentle once she knows nobody will hurt her. Energy Level- Lower to medium level energy.. She isn't playful -- more of a serious baby however that can change once she feels safe in her own home. Currently she is very mellow spending most of her time on the back of the couch. Dogs/Cats- Gets along with other dogs and ignores the cats Housetrained- house and crate trained This sweet, gentle little lady would make a wonderful addition to any home wanting a small dog who really needs to know what love is. She needs a person or family that can give her time and gain her trust and show her how wonderful having a family is. Everything is so new to her, but she is trying to trust people and when she does come to us for loves and pets she is overjoyed and can't seem to get enough.. She truly is a special little girl that will need a very special someone to come into her life. Adoption fee $150 includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies vacc, heartworm tested, collar and tags, training information, and all the support you need.
