Send us an email requesting an application to start the adoption process-- AND Visit our main website Follow us on Facebook Facebook page Approximate DOB 04/01/2014 Size -She's good sized- like a small Lab- about 35 lbs currently History- This beautiful girl was in a local shelter who had run out of room. They sent out a plea for help. An out of state rescue tagged her for their rescue; however when she got to the vet for her health certificate to travel ... (Read More)out of state it was determined she had parvo. The rescue who was originally supposed to take this girl backed out!!! They said nope never mind-- however a local rescue said we will save her.. They treated her and made sure she got well however they didn't really have the room in their program for another dog as they couldn't get a foster for this girl and all spots were filled they just didn't want her to have to die. We said if they needed help we were here and would place her through our program and she was then transferred to us.. Temperament- This bigger girl thinks she is a lap dog.. She loves everyone and is such a clown. Energy Level- Very playful!! High energy!! She loves to play and run and wrestle with the other dogs though sometimes she can get a bit rough. Oh and she loves water!! Dogs/Cats- Good with all the other dogs. She does have a high prey drive so probably not a good idea to have her with cats. Housetrained- Using a dog door-- not a single accident and she's perfectly crate trained as well.. This sweet girl would be a great addition to any home. She is just awesome. She appears to have a natural tendency to want to hunt- so someone active who would want a smart girl who might be interested in 'barn hunt' or lure coursing might make out like a bandit with this girl. She loves her family and can be quite the guard dog as well.. Very well behaved inside and out- though she would make a great running, hiking, boating partner-- in fact would definitely benefit from an active home.. Adoption fee $250 includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies vacc, collar and tags, training information, and all the support you need. Send us an e-mail to requesting an application to adopt this sweetie!! Animals are seen by appointment only. An application must be submitted to us prior to making an appointment. We do give a discount when adopting multiple pets. lnteresting Poodle Trivia Low-Cost New Mexico Spay & Neuter Clinics
Poodles appear in art from ancient Rome. Poodles do not shed and are popular for breeding with other dogs to produce a relatively non-allergenic hybrid. Poodles have been used as circus performers. The name Poodle comes from a German word describing someone who likes the water. Poodles are widely considered to be French, but there is debate over whether they may have originated in Germany or Denmark.
