Rescue Me ID: 14-06-16-00536Buddy (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Very Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Obese

Hello, I have a super sweet poodle mix that needs a new home. We cannot keep him where we are now, he needs a family that'll love him unconditionally. He loves to just lay around and relax with you, he loves walks and surprisingly love baths. He would rather have his belly scratched than chase a ball, so if you're looking for a playful puppy, this guy won't be good for you. He is about 7 and had his recent shots (will provide papers). He is a bit on the heavy side, but we think it just makes him cuter! If you are interested in him, please feel free to email me. He does have a rehoming fee of $25. I would love to give him free to a loving ... (Read More)home, but we had a chihuahua that we recently gave away for free for the same problem, and she ended up as a bait dog for someone's pit bull..I will be even more devastated if this happens to another beloved pet, so this is for security reasons. He is great with other animals, dogs and people. He just wants to be loved. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-06-03-00169Marcello (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Marcello is a 2 year old Shih-Poo. He is very friendly and social. He loves to please and is an excellent family pet. He is intelligent and lovable, spunky and sweet. True to his breeds, he likes to think he is in charge. Which means he will need an owner that will let him know who really is. Marcello needs time to adjust to his new family, and cannot be rushed. He would do best in a home with no small children, and a submissive dog. He will not be at the shelter long!

Rescue Me ID: 14-05-27-00683Gibbs (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Adult Women Only
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected

Gibbs is approximately 5 years old. He was found wandering the streets about a year ago and it is believed he escaped from a puppy mill. When he was adopted, he did not even know how to play. He has come a long way. He now loves to play, is housebroken and is a very loving little boy. He weighs 12 pounds. He would do best in a single woman home. He is good with children, but not so great with men. He growls and barks at my husband every time he enters a room, and sadly we have to give him up.

Poodles appear in art from ancient Rome. Poodles do not shed and are popular for breeding with other dogs to produce a relatively non-allergenic hybrid. Poodles have been used as circus performers. Poodles are widely considered to be French, but there is debate over whether they may have originated in Germany or Denmark.
