|Rescue Me ID: 16-05-30-00513Jessie (male)|
Jessie is a 7 year old standard poodle and is very calm and wants to be with his person. He does need a bit of time to form that connection with you but once he does he will follow you every where. He has been with his foster family for 1 week now and has become a shadow. He lives currently in a house with 4 kids ages 3 months - 11 years. He visited the park with them today and all the kids (and parents) came over to love on him. He walked very well beside the stroller as well. He enjoyed getting his feet wet in the river too! He rides wonderfully in the car and actually doesn't want to get out at times. He currently weighs 79 pounds but we are working on loosing some weight, probably about 10 pounds. Jasmine, Puppy Female, under 20 pounds, Richmond VA JASMINE IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE RICHMOND VA AREA. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN JASMINE, PLEASE GO TO WWW.MOMSRESCUEVA.ORG AND COMPLETE AN APPLICATION. I'm Jasmine and I cannot wait to find a forever home! They say I'm a Poodle/MinPin mix so I think that is why one of my ears flops like a poodle and the other stands up straight! I simply love to snuggle and I have gotten along with all the adults, kids, and other dogs I have met. I even did just fine when I met a neighbor's cat the other day. If you are looking for a puppy with silly big ears like mine, GO TO WWW.MOMSRESCUEVA.ORG to see if we could be a match! (Less)

Ideally looking for an elderly individual seeking a companion or a new family with young children. Not your typical small dog, this sweet old lady (14 years young) forgets her age sometimes. While she spends most of the day sleeping, every now and then she'll have bubbly days when she thinks she's a puppy again. Growing up with a large backyard and surrounded by newborns to teenagers, she loves giving the little ones kisses and is quiet enough that you won't notice her during a dinner party. She only barks two times: to let you know she's ready to come inside and when there's a lot of mixed energy in the room. Fun fact: She sneezes to let you know when she wants to go outside. Potty, house, and leash trained, she's a proper lady in and outside of the house. The only little dog syndrome she has is about her size from time to time. She's getting up there in age so her hearing and sight is fading, but she's still alert. Unfortunately, with work taking up more hours, I don't have as much time in the day to dedicate to her. Thus, I'm looking for someone to love and spend time with her like she deserves. (Less)

Sandy is 12 years or older. She's a tiny toy poodle that was kept outside in a kennel most of her life. She's good with most dogs, but can be snippy with some. Sandy had most of her teeth pulled when spayed. She's probably 7 pounds or so.

|Rescue Me ID: 15-06-09-00648Paris-Sponsors Needed (female)|
This is sweet little Paris who is blind. Paris is about 8 years old. She wandered away from her home and was returned to her owners very dirty and matted. Her owners decided that they didn't want to deal with her any longer. So they surrendered her to a high-kill shelter. Luckily, we were able to rescue her before she was put to sleep. Paris is a real sweetheart who loves to be with people. Her ideal home would be with someone who is home a lot and is patient with her disability. Paris suffered from pain in her leg. She has had surgery to help her be pain-free. Please sponsor her by making a tax deductible donation for her surgical costs at https://www.razoo.com/story/Little-Paris-Needs-Your-Help. Due to her size and age, she might do better in a home without children. She really is a precious little dog who deserves someone special to love. Her adoption fee includes spay and current vaccinations. Since she is a little dog, Paris has many good years left to enjoy with her new person(s). Can you give her a forever home? She would like spend the rest of her life in loving arms. (Less)
