Animal ID: SadieSadie (female)
Sadie is a miniature poodle maltese mix from Texas and was treated for being heartworm positive. She has tested negative after her treatment. She is very sweet, lap dog, that just wants to be with her person. A calm retired home would be best for her to thrive. Her only issues right now is she has decreased liver function due to the heartworm treatment but will live a long life if well taken care of.

Rescue Me ID: 15-07-22-00275Daisy (female)
Silly Daisy! This dancing girl has a wonderful, light-hearted temperament and a constantly wagging tail. She loves playing with the other dogs or playing / cuddling with her people. She's not much over a year old so needs a bit more training, but she's always eager to learn something new. She'd be a great family dog for children over 6yrs old. A backyard is preferred but not needed if she has plenty of walks and play dates with other dogs. Please tell us a bit about yourself when you inquire for an adoption questionnaire.

Rescue Me ID: 15-07-13-00533Penny (female)
Penny is as sweet as they come. She was rescued from the euthanasia list from a shelter in California. She loves toys and is very spunky despite her age. She does not have any teeth and has some balance issues but she does not let that slow her down. She absolutely loves all people, has been great with other small dogs and very respectful of our cat. She would love nothing more than a loving home to live out the rest of her years.

Rescue Me ID: 15-07-09-00259Alexander and Olivia (female)
This brother and sister look exactly alike -- long legs, all white, scruffy soft and so very interesting. For sure people will be stopping you to ask what breed these guys are when you have them out for a walk. They are very bonded so we are looking for a foster home / adoptive home that will keep them todether. Olivia is a bit shy and takes a few minutes to warm up, but with treats and the presence of her brother, she quickly warms up to people. The are both a bit apprehensive with small children so kids must be over 12yrs old. They are great with small dogs but are a little fearful of large dogs.

Rescue Me ID: 15-06-24-00033CJ (male)
Hi! My name is CJ and I am looking for a home of my own. I had a home and person of my own for almost my whole life. My former owner, a single senior woman, passed away and I am pretty broken hearted about the whole ordeal. I am currently safe in the rescue, but it is a little loud, and a little too much action for me to be comfortable. I would love a quiet, calm home of my own. I am a pretty mellow dog and would love to find a couch to lay around and relax on. I would do best with a quiet person or family without kids and without a lot of action. I am working on getting comfortable with other people, but will probably need some time to adjust to a new family. I am house trained, crate trained, neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on all my vaccinations. If you think you might have the right home for me, please visit the Valhalla Canine Rescue website at http://www.valhallarescue.org/adopt/ and fill out an adoption application. My adoption fee is $250. My adoption fee allows Valhalla Rescue to continue to provide care and medical treatment (including spay/neuter services) for dogs like me while we look for our forever homes. This fee also helps cover the ongoing costs of caring for less adoptable dogs that require longer stays in the shelter, or more advanced medical treatment before finding their forever homes. THANK YOU FOR SAVING THE LIFE OF A RESCUE DOG!!! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-06-05-00479Corey (male)
This is Howard. He came from a high kill shelter in California. He is neutered and is caught up on all his shots. He doesn't get along with cats or other dogs. He would have to be the only animal in your household. But he does get along with children. He would be a indoor/outdoor dog. He would have to be in a fenced yard. He is a fun loving young adult. He wants someone to make him apart of their family, whom will love him, play with him and adore him.
