Poodle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

My name is Dhred AKA Dhredlock. I am a Lhasa Apso/poodle mix male. I weigh about 12 pounds. I was named for my previous fashion choice before the dog catcher found me. I was pretty scared at the shelter but I let them shave me down. However, I was insistant that they leave my 'bed head' look! Hey, a guy has to have something. My foster mom is trying to convince me that people like to see my eyes, but I am having nothing of it! I am a low energy, couch potato who gets along with all my fellow foster dogs and even their pet pigs. I am a good traveller, crate trained and will go outside to potty if you get me outside regularly. Adoption ... (Read More)contract and fee applies. All adoptable dogs can be met at adoption events hosted every weekend. For a list of scheduled events go to: https://www.facebook.com/SmidgetRescue/events . Rescue Me ID: 17-11-27-00312Cheeto (female)

Poodle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

I am not strong enough to lift her and need to re-home her. She is a sweet heart and a very happy dog.... She was born breech and after birth lost her left paw. Her right leg had torn ligaments from the birth and she's had 2 surgeries on that. She can walk on grass (a bit awkwardly) and move inside on mats or rugs but not slick floors (I use a big mat inside but not shown in this picture). She is about 45# and needs someone strong enough to swoop her up and take her outside or to lift her to potty her in place. When outside she will happily go potty but inside there could accidents if she doesn't go about every 6 hours. If I haven't been ... (Read More)watching her outside, before coming back in, I'll lift her belly to make sure her potty is empty. With water and food monitored at night she will sleep through the night but sometimes has a poo accident. Great thing about her poo's are that they are very solid. She loves her cart and I'll put her in it 3 or 4 times a day for an hour or 2. She is half Bernese Mountain Dog and half poodle. She does not shed. She gets along great with my other dogs and me and is very loving! If you want other pictures of her, please send me a request. (Less)

Poodle Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

YES, I'M AVAILABLE! Adoption application at www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APP before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thanks for your cooperation!****** The very sad tail of Honeybee who at the age of 12 years old was dropped off at a extremely high kill shelter in such very poor shape by her owner. We seen how bad a shape she was in & her time had run out. We got her out & medically she needed the works. Her fur was barely there, her skin was an absolute mess from neglect, poor nutrition & possible flea infestation. We had to get Honeybee healthy before she could be put under anesthesia. Her skin had a skin scraping done, ... (Read More)she still gets medicated baths, she got meds & a good healthy diet then she was well enough to go under to get her dental. Her teeth were so very bad, she had extractions & major extractions. While under it was discovered that her ears were a mess so she also had to have her ears flushed. Honeybee's foster mum has discovered that this sweet lady is deaf & sometimes off in her own world. She is also spayed, weighs 13.2 lbs, a poodle terrier mix, chipped up to date on her shots & loves to eat. She is currently being fostered with other dogs, she should not go to a home with children because of being deaf & needs to go to a home where other dogs are present & someone is always present in the home. All of our sweet souls are rescues so they need a home where the people understand these little lives were thrown away & deserve to be cherished. Honeybee has an adoption fee of $450. Like most dogs in our rescue, Honeybee will need work on potty training. Honeybee has an adoption fee of $450 __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-09-12-00298Lizzie (female)

Poodle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Most Cats
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

YES, I'M AVAILABLE! Adoption application at www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APP before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thanks for your cooperation!****** Lizzie is a sweet poodle/terrier mix with so much love to give! She is 5 years old and was in a high kill shelter where she had run out of time and needed to be saved. It was clear that Lizzie just had puppies recently, where her puppies were we did not know, but we did know she had been in the shelter for a very long time. We got her out of the shelter and little Lizzie was so very sick with pneumonia. She spent 11-14 days in the hospital, she was treated with multiple ... (Read More)antibiotics, daily breathing treatments, and x-ray's to constantly check on her health. It was then discovered that she has a grade 3 out of 6 heart murmur. She was treated for skin allergies and she may need a dental later on. Unfortunately, the recovery time for pneumonia is 2 months and she cannot undergo anesthesia for 6 months no matter what the reason, unless it is to save her life. If she did, it could trigger pneumonia again, so the dental will have to wait. Lizzie is so loving and playful, loves playing with other dogs, and she is a super high jumper. She will need a home that will be willing to make sure she gets exercise each day. She loves walks and does well on a leash. Lizzie is super affectionate. She gives kisses and loves to cuddle. Shec always wants to be with her people. Lizzie would do best in a home with other dogs present and where people are home during the day. She gets along best with submissive male dogs. Lizzie hasn't had any accidents in her foster home, but may need work on house training in a new environment. Lizzie has an adoption fee of $500 __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption.     YES, I'M AVAILABLE! Adoption application at www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APP before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thanks for your cooperation!*** Snow is a very sweet 5 yr old male miniature poodle. He was rescued from a California shelter who came in as a stray, and his time was up! He still has bad dreams and will growl in his sleep. He loves to play with toys and we always make sure we tell him drop it before we take the toy. He wants to dominate other animals but Moe the cat ignores him and Molly the dog only cares if she thinks he is getting more attention. Snow is almost completely deaf so you will need to ...
