Rescue Me ID: 15-08-31-00780Baby Boy (male)
This little guy will be ready to go to his home September 14th. Baby Boy has a calm temperament, loves kids and other dogs, and he will be about 12 pounds when full grown. He's fluffy and lovable. Must have another small dog in the home so he has someone to play with. Since he's only a baby, he cannot be left alone for more than 3 or 4 hours at a time. His adoption fee covers first year shots, microchip, deworming, and neuter surgery.

Rescue Me ID: 15-08-30-00444Chauncey (male)
Chauncey is a WHEATON TERRIER MIX but RescueMe! does not have that breed listed. Darn it!So I just had to pick a breed - hope people find Chauncey here! He was saved from a high kill shelter in So. California. He was a street dog for a while as he is timid and scared of noises and he will lay in a corner, protecting himself. I have had him for two weeks now and he is starting to come out of his shell. He was completely shaved so his coat is just starting to come back now.It is soft and I think he is mixed with poodle. He LOVES to eat and his treats - well he goes bacrazy for his treats! He is very thin and I am trying to put on a little weight. He is now around 20 lbs. but will be around 25 -28 lbs. when grown. He is 10 mos. to a year old. His fur is very soft, silky like a poodle. He had to be totally shaved because of fleas and ticks. He is now lovely and clean and free of the pesty insects!I do not know at this point how long his fur will become. He so wants to trust and love but it will take him some time. He needs a loving patient parent who will nurture him and bring him to his full potential. Already he is a different little boy. He is very good with other dogs and ignores cats. I adore his little face. He looks like a lamb to me. Come visit him in the Skagit Valley. He is waiting for his forever family. He is a love and very gentle! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-08-30-00227Cotton (male)
My name is Cotton, but you can call me Poodle Boy - because I have the personality of a little boy. My adoption fee is $575. I am about 18 months old and 17 pounds. I am a Maltese Poodle mix (Maltipoo)and I am a LOVER! I like to follow my foster daddy around the house and try to sneak in a hug whenever possible. I get along with dogs and cats, and I am very silly. I am crate trained, know how to walk on a leash and I'm almost potty trained. I am very well-behaved and everyone who meets me adores me because my personality is infectious! My favorite pastime is RUNNING and playing with other dogs my size. I will need to have a fully fenced yard as I like to play chase, and I will need someone to play with that has four-legs - so if you already have a dog, that would be perfect. I also walk on a leash, but that will not be enough exercise for me. I have long legs and they need to run; I am high energy. Adoption APPLICATIONS must be filled out for all inquiries and prior to a meet and greet @6dogrees.com. We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. Home check and references required prior to adoption approval. Cotton's adoption fee includes: spay, microchip, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, bordatella) plus de-worming, flea treatment, and heart worm testing. We also include a 15 minute training consultation with a certified behaviorist trainer and 30-day pet insurance. All dogs are home fostered in the Seattle area by volunteers. 6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate Seattle based 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that focuses on saving the lives of urgent dogs on their last hours at high kill shelters from the state of California where pet overpopulation is at epidemic levels and kill shelters are the norm. 100% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we 'save it forward' so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs. 6dogrees adoptions are limited to residents of Washington State. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-07-13-00533Penny (female)
Penny is as sweet as they come. She was rescued from the euthanasia list from a shelter in California. She loves toys and is very spunky despite her age. She does not have any teeth and has some balance issues but she does not let that slow her down. She absolutely loves all people, has been great with other small dogs and very respectful of our cat. She would love nothing more than a loving home to live out the rest of her years.

Rescue Me ID: 15-07-09-00259Alexander and Olivia (female)
This brother and sister look exactly alike -- long legs, all white, scruffy soft and so very interesting. For sure people will be stopping you to ask what breed these guys are when you have them out for a walk. They are very bonded so we are looking for a foster home / adoptive home that will keep them todether. Olivia is a bit shy and takes a few minutes to warm up, but with treats and the presence of her brother, she quickly warms up to people. The are both a bit apprehensive with small children so kids must be over 12yrs old. They are great with small dogs but are a little fearful of large dogs.

This is Howard. He came from a high kill shelter in California. He is neutered and is caught up on all his shots. He doesn't get along with cats or other dogs. He would have to be the only animal in your household. But he does get along with children. He would be a indoor/outdoor dog. He would have to be in a fenced yard. He is a fun loving young adult. He wants someone to make him apart of their family, whom will love him, play with him and adore him.

Rescue Me ID: 15-01-22-00831Whitey (male)
Whitey is a small Pekapoo about 7-8 years old. He's a sweet guy that gets along with other dogs and doesn't bother cats. He would do the best with one other dog at most...he's a little stressed right now because he is with 3 other small dogs all of the time. Gets along great with adults, and I assume he would be fine with kids. He likes to go for walks and just sit by you. Likes attention but isn't needy. If you are interested in adopting Whitey, email me and I can send you my phone number. Thanks
