Meet Simon a 3 year old and 10 pound Shih-Tzu / Poodle. I do have to admit that my haircut is quite short... when I was rescued from the shelter, my hair was very long and matted. To give me a fresh start they gave me a very short cut, but it will grow back - I promise! I am very sweet and tender, but not very confident and quite shy. I love to sit on laps and snuggle - yes, I am a very typical lap dog! I am working on trusting people and it takes me time to warm up to new things and people. I am looking for a gentle, quiet home and a family that has the patience to work with me. I have not had an easy life. No one knows my history, but I am uneasy with new surroundings and sudden movements and loud noises scare me. I need a family to love me unconditionally. I am like to play with other dogs, and I like cats. I am crate trained and my foster mom is working with me on potty training. Currently home fostered in the Seattle area (Mill Creek APPLICATION must be filled out for all inquires and prior to a meet and greet @6dogrees.com. We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. Home check and references required prior to adoption approval. Simon's adoption fee is $575.00 and includes: neuter, microchip, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, bordatella) plus de-worming, flea treatment, and heart worm testing. The fee also supports costs for various necessary vet care including special surgeries, quality grain free food, general supplies, grooming, boarding, health certificate and transport cost from California to Seattle. We also include a 15 minute training consultation with a certified behaviorist trainer and 30-day pet insurance. All dogs are home fostered in the Seattle area by volunteers. 6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate Seattle based 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that focuses on saving the lives of urgent dogs on their last hours at high kill shelters from the state of California where pet overpopulation is at epidemic levels and kill shelters are the norm. 100% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we 'save it forward' so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs. (Less)

She has been a fabulous mommy but it is time for her to find HER forever home! Joone LOVES men and will cuddle with you all day long if you let her! She is good with women as well but really likes men :) She has had a rough start to her life but is looking for the velvet bed to lay on for the rest of her days! Do you have that for her?? My name is Rafe. I am a handsome neutered male 2 year old / 7 lb bouncy white Miniature Poodle, and my adoption fee is $595. I am an social, loving and sweet. I am looking for my forever family to love me unconditionally. I would love someone that worked from home. I really like being close to my person, and. I would make a great companion dog. I get along with other dogs, and enjoy the company of small dogs. A moderately active home with a playful dog would be ideal. I am silly, bouncy and like to please. I would benefit from basic obedience training. I am looking for someone I can become buddies with. I am almost potty-trained. My biggest joy in life is being cuddling with 'my person.' I am a rescue dog saved from a very high kill shelter in CA. I require routine grooming every 6 weeks. My dream family would be semi active and include me as a part of the family. A fenced yard is desired or condo dweller. Before applying please do the research on how to prepare for a dog. We recommend that you have everything in place prior to bringing home a dog. i.e. crate, pee pads, food, puppy sitter etc. Leaving a dog home for 8 hours per day will not work without someone to help care for the dog. Rescue dogs should not be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. 6dogrees Rescue is a small, grass-roots, non-profit rescue focusing on saving dogs. California euthanizes 800 dogs per day! This is due to over breeding, puppy mills and lack of funds to help the problem. We feel all dogs deserve a chance at life no matter where they live so we do our best to help them. 6dogrees Rescue goal is to place the dogs into forever happy, loving, homes in Washington State. 6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate 501c3 (non-profit charitable organization). Adoption fees are not negotiable, and are in place to fully vet our dogs and to 'Save-it-forward'; meaning when a dog is adopted we save another. 100% of all fees are spent in the dogs. Home check and references required. Please submit an adoption application at www.6dogrees.com if interested. The fee covers spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordatella, deworming, flea treatment, Heart-worm testing, microchip, boarding, grooming, health certificates, and transport cost from California to Seattle. This adoption fee will also go towards helping many of our rescued dogs who are in desperate need of surgeries, dental and teeth extractions, hernias, cherry eye removals, medications and boarding fees. Fees are non-negotiable. APPLICATION must be filled out to get a response from us @ www.6dogrees.com. We will review all applications and contact the best match for a meet and greet. (Less)
