Rescue Me ID: 15-07-22-00275Daisy (female)

Poodle Mix    Age: Puppy

Health: Spayed

Silly Daisy! This dancing girl has a wonderful, light-hearted temperament and a constantly wagging tail. She loves playing with the other dogs or playing / cuddling with her people. She's not much over a year old so needs a bit more training, but she's always eager to learn something new. She'd be a great family dog for children over 6yrs old. A backyard is preferred but not needed if she has plenty of walks and play dates with other dogs. Please tell us a bit about yourself when you inquire for an adoption questionnaire.

Rescue Me ID: 15-07-09-00259Alexander and Olivia (female)

Poodle Mix    Age: Puppy

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

This brother and sister look exactly alike -- long legs, all white, scruffy soft and so very interesting. For sure people will be stopping you to ask what breed these guys are when you have them out for a walk. They are very bonded so we are looking for a foster home / adoptive home that will keep them todether. Olivia is a bit shy and takes a few minutes to warm up, but with treats and the presence of her brother, she quickly warms up to people. The are both a bit apprehensive with small children so kids must be over 12yrs old. They are great with small dogs but are a little fearful of large dogs.

Rescue Me ID: 15-06-24-00033CJ (male)

Poodle    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Low Energy
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

Hi! My name is CJ and I am looking for a home of my own. I had a home and person of my own for almost my whole life. My former owner, a single senior woman, passed away and I am pretty broken hearted about the whole ordeal. I am currently safe in the rescue, but it is a little loud, and a little too much action for me to be comfortable. I would love a quiet, calm home of my own. I am a pretty mellow dog and would love to find a couch to lay around and relax on. I would do best with a quiet person or family without kids and without a lot of action. I am working on getting comfortable with other people, but will probably need some time to ... (Read More)adjust to a new family. I am house trained, crate trained, neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on all my vaccinations. If you think you might have the right home for me, please visit the Valhalla Canine Rescue website at and fill out an adoption application. My adoption fee is $250. My adoption fee allows Valhalla Rescue to continue to provide care and medical treatment (including spay/neuter services) for dogs like me while we look for our forever homes. This fee also helps cover the ongoing costs of caring for less adoptable dogs that require longer stays in the shelter, or more advanced medical treatment before finding their forever homes. THANK YOU FOR SAVING THE LIFE OF A RESCUE DOG!!! (Less)

lnteresting Poodle Trivia Low-Cost Washington Spay & Neuter Clinics
Poodles appear in art from ancient Rome. Poodles do not shed and are popular for breeding with other dogs to produce a relatively non-allergenic hybrid. Poodles have been used as circus performers. The name Poodle comes from a German word describing someone who likes the water. Poodles are widely considered to be French, but there is debate over whether they may have originated in Germany or Denmark.
