The Human Society states that 6 to 8 million cats and dogs enter US shelters each year. 3.5 million make it out alive. By adopting a rescue dog you are a part of the solution. Adoption fee includes transportation from CA to WA. Personality: Daisy is a snuggly, super sweet girl with a beautiful, loving personality. There is nothing like snuggling up with her! She is also really good with other dogs and shows no signs of aggression. She will make an outstanding companion dog. She is small, so little children would not be the best for her because she could get hurt easily. School aged children would be fine. We hear cats are not her ... (Read More)favorite. Appearance & Breed: We believe that Daisy is a maltese and poodle mix. She has hair like a maltese. It was cut short due to matting, but it will grow out nicely. Daisy resembles a poodle with maltese hair. She is small in size and about 10 lbs. She is a very sweet dog that need to be with a companion to be happy. She will make a great best friends and soul mate! She just may change your life forever. She will bring friendship and comfort to her owner. She is that kind of girl. Past: Daisy and her 3 unweaned pups were on their way to being dumped at the San Bernardino Shelter in CA., when a rescue partner intercepted them in the parking lot. Instead, they were taken to the vet and then into foster care. This shelter often gives their dogs 1-3 day to live and the shelter can mean death to little pups with no disease immunity. The pups are weaned now and Daisy is done being a mom. She is now waiting for that special person to love her. Health and Safety: Daisy was given vaccines and she was heart worm tested. The results were negative. The vet certified that she is in good health. She is now in foster care in Seattle. She will have her spay surgery with our vet before her adoption. Needs: She would do best with a retired person, someone who works from home, or with a family willing to give her lots of attention. She will make a very loving and loyal companion. Our Mission: We are a small, passionate 100% volunteer organization that networks, rescues and fosters small dogs. We strive to make a perfect match between dog and new owner. We do not charge for our time, our gas, our dog's food, toys, treats etc. We only ask that our adopters pay their dog's rescue expenses. We can't lower our prices since what we are asking does not always cover all of a dog's expenses. If you are not happy with that, ask the vets to lower their prices. Vet care is our largest expense. What you get from us is a great dog that has had everything that is needed covered. *Our rescue requires an application and home visit.* No out of state or country adoptions. Adoption fee $500.00 It includes: *Microchipping *Vaccinations including rabies *Heart worm test (negative) *health certificate showing her good health *Spay/Neuter with IV fluids and pain meds. Some rescues do no use this procedure, but the anesthetic can damage their organs. We feel it is worth the extra money. *all health care before adoption *Frontline flea treatment *Professional Grooming-hair, nails, ears, teeth, anal glands *Energy treatments from Reconnective Therapy *Transport from CA to Seattle *Collar and Leash *Food and Instructions for care (Less)
