Rescue Me ID: 15-08-26-00172Cosmo (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Cosmo is a YorkiePoo that weighs 10 pounds and is 5 years old. He is a very quiet, gentle, sweet little boy who likes to sit back and take everything in. He is calm and easy to care for as he comes when called and is housebroken. He doesn't ask for much, just someone to love him and make him feel safe as he adjusts to life without his original owner. Cosmo was surrendered to Tiny Paws when his senior owner moved to an Arizona Condo with Dog rules. He loves walks and is very good on a leash. He bonds easily and would do best in a quiet home with older children and no other dogs (He has alpha tendencies and much prefers human ... (Read More)companionship). Cosmo is being fostered in Milwaukee, WI and his adoption fee is $300. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. For more information or to meet this sweet boy with the cutest fanny wiggle, you may contact Beth at 414-687-9042 balling623@gmail.com, or Vicki at 262-496-9324. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-07-31-00496Romeo (male)

Poodle    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Most Cats
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Here! Here! I'm right here waiting for you!! The original Romeo had a fairy tale love in the beginning and a tragic ending to his life. We want the opposite for our Romeo, whereas he had a tragic beginning to his life, most of it spent in a cage. We are looking for his fairy tale ending. Can you be the one to give him the kind of love one sees in fairy tales? We promise he is way more kissable than a frog! And he is already a prince. Romeo is a 5 year old sweet toy poodle weighing in at about 5lbs. He is silver and loves his person. He likely did not have a lot of human interaction in the first years of his life, but he seeks it out ... (Read More)now. He displays some behaviors that are typical of a breeder dog. He does a lot of circling when stressed, however this has decreased over the two weeks he has been with me. He wants to be held and is very content on your lap for as long as you will have him. He does however need to be coaxed to you, this does not take long and once you can touch his cheek he melts and is all yours. I believe once he is comfortable in your home that this will no longer be an issue. He is working on potty training and very much wants to potty outside. He just hasn't figured out how to tell us yet. He happily wears a belly band and it usually remains dry if he is taken outside on a regular basis. Romeo is crate trained and does fine in one overnight. He has slept with me in my bed also and does great there. Romeo does bark a considerable amount; however I have a very busy household and live in a very active neighborhood so there is much to bark about. Hopefully as he becomes comfortable in his surroundings the barking will decrease. With time and patience Romeo is going to make a wonderful addition to a family. He is good with other dogs. I don't know about cats, but suspect he would be fine. His name is fitting as he is such a little lover. Romeo is fostering in Potosi, WI, about 20 miles north of Dubuque, Iowa. His adoption fee is $300. Please contact foster Mom, Rhonda @rrmenne@gmail.com or 608-763-4299 to find out more about precious Romeo! (Less)

Poodle Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

My name is Roman and my Foster Mom affectionately calls me Roman the Rascal!! Aw, she loves me so much! I am a 7 month old male Schoodle who is looking for a nice family to love me forever. My Foster Mom says I will make a family very happy with my loveable personality. I absolutely love running and being outside as there are so many things to explore in my backyard. It is also really cool that I have so many Foster Brothers and Sisters to play with because we run around together in the fenced in yard. I am being crate trained and doing very well. I am working really hard despite my former situation of being locked in a crate all day ... (Read More)at the horrible mill in MO with no one to love me, touch me, bath me or feed me regularly. Everything is a new adventure for me and at first I was unsure, but now I am catching on and ready to take the world by storm. I would love to be part of your family - my forever family- so please call Vicki at 262-496-9324 to schedule a time to meet me!! (Less)

Animal ID: 15-05-27-00162Farley (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Farley wants very much to be part of someone's family. He is a beautiful whitish/tan colored Cockapoo. He was brought home as a puppy and then within a year there was a baby in the home, then another, and Farley got left out as the children took forefront. He loves to go for walks, would love to have some toys of his own, loves to sit next to and sleep next to 'his people'. (Although he only gets to do these things at 'Grandma's house') He will only go to loving, involved pet parent(s) who will give him the attention and love he so deserves. Please contact me, 'Grandma', for more info as I am helping my daughter and son-in-law find ... (Read More)Farley a new, loving, safe, healthy and happy home. lnteresting Poodle Trivia Low-Cost Wisconsin Spay & Neuter Clinics
Poodles appear in art from ancient Rome. Poodles do not shed and are popular for breeding with other dogs to produce a relatively non-allergenic hybrid. The name Poodle comes from a German word describing someone who likes the water. Poodles are widely considered to be French, but there is debate over whether they may have originated in Germany or Denmark.
