Hannah is a non-shedding Klein poodle who is up to date on shots and a healthy girl. She's shy at first, but is a really sweet dog who loves companionship once she warms up to you. We think Hannah is about 7 years old, but she often acts like a puppy. She's very playful in spurts, but the rest of the time she's perfectly content to lounge around the house or by your side. She loves to play outside, and would do best in a home with a fenced in yard or owners who can take her for daily walks. She adores cats, but is best in a home without another dog or children. For serious inquiries about adopting Hannah please contact ... (Read More) (Less)

Animal ID: 17-10-06-00125'NOODLES' (male)

Poodle Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This is Noodle. He is only about 7 or 8 by our estimation. His previous owner is a senior who just found out she cannot keep Noodle, though she loves him dearly. She got him from the Humane Society 3 years ago. He is super sweet and all he wants is to be pet and sit on your lap. He would be happy with anyone who was kind and gentle with him, but is looking forward to celebrating life with a quiet home, a warm lap, and walks each day. He does not pull on the leash and walks at the person's pace. He is learning his name, but is slow to sit or perform any other commands. We take him out to potty each hour or so, and the only accidents on the ... (Read More)floor he has had are when we did not put him out soon enough in the morning when he woke up. He is small, and about 17 lb. He eats only ground food because he had 24 teeth pulled. He is doing really well with this and loves his mealtimes! He will need further follow up care for the remaining teeth within the year. He follows me around the house wherever I go. He has the onset of cataracts, but the vet is not concerned about it yet. He doesn't bark, but on super rare occasion, and he loves all people. We have an 18 month old dog of our own who is very playful, and he doesn't mind her at all. We also have 4 children who are well seasoned with dogs, and he is very docile with all of them. I will be screening all applicants for the proper fit. My utmost concern is that he finds a loving home where his needs are met and he is well cared for. OF IMPORTANCE TO REMEMBER: Lots of rescue animals will mark territory (aka your carpet) initially. Please remember that they are scared and this is what they instinctively do. It doesn't mean that they are not housebroken. Noodles does not pee or poo in our house and I've had him about a month now. (Less)

lnteresting Poodle Trivia Low-Cost Wisconsin Spay & Neuter Clinics
Poodles appear in art from ancient Rome. Poodles do not shed and are popular for breeding with other dogs to produce a relatively non-allergenic hybrid. Poodles have been used as circus performers. Poodles are widely considered to be French, but there is debate over whether they may have originated in Germany or Denmark.
